Cabbages & Condoms is a restaurant in Bangkok with great food and an important message about safe sex. They are run by a non-profit that not only supports safe sex education, but also supports swimming lessons for disenfranchised children and donates lots of food to communities at risk. The place is filled with funny condom memorabilia and sculptures, but they don't detract from the charming garden setting. This place is a Bangkok must-visit for sure!! @cabbagesandcondoms #cabbagesandcondoms #hivawareness #safesex #bangkok #girlslovetravel #instatravel

February 2009 - Hans Rosling giving a talk at a TED conference called 'Insights on HIV, in stunning data visuals', focused on dispelling common myths about the so-called developing world and its relationship with HIV/AIDS.
Rosling, a physician, academic, statistician, and public speaker, explored how recent statistics (at the time) around people living with HIV can be hard to understand fully due to the number of people living with HIV growing (due to effective treatment). #hivawareness
Wrap it up, wrap it up, wrap it up👅
Did you know that nearly half of millennials don’t use condoms with a new partner? It shouldn’t come as a surprise that they are among the demographic most affected by STDs. Do yourself (and your partner) a favor and #beSAFE

Brooklyn-based artist Kaws donated an original Chum canvas that is currently hosted on Paddle8 (@paddle8
) to benefit the amfAR (@amfar
) foundation in its fourth annual gala in Hong Kong. The organization was founded in 1985 to help further advances in research to study and treat HIV/AIDS which over 36 million people are living with when it was last reported in 2016. It is also no longer the leading cause of death in Africa in 2017, where the disease has plagued the continent and the majority of those affected live thanks to medical advancements, educational and preventative measures.
Here’s your opportunity to support a crucial organization and own a large 60” x 49” original work direct from the artist without buyer’s premium. The last one sold in 2016 almost $250,000 after premium at Christie’s. Online bidding ends Sunday, March 25 at 12:00PM EST where it will then transfer to a live auction beginning Monday, March 26 at 6:00PM EST. Email email@example.com
if you’d like to place a proxy bid. Link in bio.
