Cheers to a beautiful weekend! 💐
My baby is blooming every day. Today, she made friends! They jumped and ran and climbed and found sticks and snacked and got dirt under their nails. They held hands! 😭 I know that’s all normal stuff, but this was the first time Vera felt comfortable and confident enough to let her guard down and play with other kids. And it made it a million times sweeter that she was hanging out with @mrsyoungdale
’s precious crew 👧🏼👧🏼👶🏼👧🏻 #weloveyouveramuch #youngdalelittles
Family heirloom 🚙 + kisses 💫
A little chat between ring bearers before the ceremony ☺️
Having way too much fun with these two already! 🙏
Who’s ready for the weekend? 🔥💯

SATURDAY | After nearly two years of running my business full-time, I am only just starting to realise the importance of boundaries.
Up until recently, the thought of not getting back to an email practically straight away made me feel sooo guilty. It wouldn't matter whether it was the weekend or late into the evening - I didn't want the client to think that I was neglecting them. And if I didn't get back to them almost immediately, it would play on my mind until I did.
I had this idea in my head that that was "good customer service". Oh wow, I was so wrong!
Good customer service isn't being available 24/7, its creating realistic boundaries and expectations from the very beginning. It's looking after yourself, physically, emotionally and mentally, so you can perform to the best of your ability and produce high quality work.
I used to think I was doing "the right thing" by putting my clients as the highest priority, but the truth is that, if I can't be the best version of myself when I'm working with them, then the business doesn't work anyway. It defeats my whole purpose.
So as I sit here on a surprisingly sunny Saturday morning in Adelaide (without my emails open hehe), my wish for you this weekend is that you take some time to rest, relax and recharge. Take some time to breathe, without feeling the pressures of "business". It may not be easy at first. I know that this 'new way of being' is definitely going to be challenging for me as well... but I also know that my business will be better for it. And most importantly, I will be better for it. xx

I’m SO excited! Want to know why? Because something amazing is about to launch! On Tuesday I’ll be launching something that I’ve put SO much time into working on (you can’t know just yet!), and I couldn’t be more thrilled!
I’ve put my whole heart into this new little venture and that makes it even more special. As creatives, we’re told to put our own spin on our business and our whole heart into our brand, and even though I have quite a few of those, this new project definitely has the most of me.
Sooooooo if you didn’t get the point already! You NEED to check back on Tuesday! Plus I may or may not be doing a special giveaway in honor of the launch!

Listen more. 👂🏼 Love always. 🌈
What a day...so Ryan woke up this morning and randomly looked at my passport and was like “Hey Priti, have you looked at your passport yet?” And I was like “No why?”... and he’s like “It expired in March” and since then I’ve been running around like crazy all day. I am leaving for New Orleans on Monday so having a valid passport is extremely important 😬. Anyway, I was able to get an urgent rush order and a new passport from Service Canada and I will never be irresponsible ever again 😳. I hope you all had a fabulous Friday and are psyched for the weekend because I sure am!! Bring on packing and launching SOCIAL ME PRETTY!! Official launch date this Sunday!! I can’t wait to share my creative world with you. ✌🏼Also, if you are traveling soon - check your passport’s expiry date! 🖤
Ceramics in nature is almost as dreamy as nature on ceramics 🌿😍
The sun is out & it’s suppose to be beautiful all weekend. Who can complain - not me! Let’s celebrate with a Mai Tai! 🍹🌸
DEFINING YOUR PURPOSE // Our life’s purpose lives inside us 💁🏻♀️we often don’t realise but it is the quiet voices at 3am that reminds us of our calling 🤔 Although to these voices we rarely listen. These are the quiet voices of our truth ✔️ It is the ache when we continue to work against the will of our hearts. It is in our mind seeking constant distraction, which we normalise, to not be present to what has become normal- a version of life that is not deeply, authentically our own ✖️ 👆🏻 If this is something that relates to you, ask yourself-
🔷 What are you allowing to persist that no longer serves you?
🔷 Of what should you gracefully let go?
How are you getting in the way of our own growth?
🔷 What stories do you tell yourself that you know, deep down, are no longer true?
🔷 What are your core values? 🔷 What could you change to align your work closer to your core values?
Our values are like a compass- pointing us to our ‘true north’ 🙄
I’ve been working on discovering my own core values ever since #DAA2018
conference 🤔 the theme for this year’s conference was to #ThinkBig
. I attended workshops on topics like engaging with others, finding your purpose, branding, becoming an entrepreneur 🙋🏻♀️it was so insightful but it also made me what a bad job I have been doing this whole time 🤣
has gotten me to think bigger than ever before! Now I’ve got a million dreams that are keeping me awake 😂
I have realised that there are a lot of things that I want to change. But I’ve realised that I probably need to start with rebranding my account 🤔 this is what I will be working towards in the few weeks to months 🙄 watch this space because I will be defining my purpose soon once I’ve figured it all out 🤓 .

Here’s a little work in progress 🤓 let me know what you think, instafam! 🌸
It’s officially allergies want to kill me season, in other words summer. I definitely have a love hate relationship with this season, but I’m determined to enjoy it!
I’m no social media expert, but I know some stuff 💁🏼♀️
Social media gets a bad rap sometimes, and like everything, there are negative aspects.
The cool thing is you get to decide what you participate in and the same goes for social media.
If you want to participate in disrespectful discourse to prove how “right” you are, you can!
If you want to meet awesome people and collaborate, you can do that to!
Through social media, my husband @nvmauimedia
and I, have met some amazing people, both in the US and abroad.
The kind of people you collaborate with, and then they show you all around their home city and take you to the best spots to eat (my love language)!
It’s pretty amazing that we live in a time when we can start conversations with people we never would have met otherwise.
We can find people that love the things we do without searching for them for years.
Even though algorithm changes can be frustrating, it seems like many of the changes are geared towards connecting and conversation, and I think that’s pretty awesome.
Check out my stories to get some tips about what’s working for me on social media 🙇🏼♀️
What’s your favorite thing about social media?

A few years ago, my husband @jasonjamesmoore
and I were driving on the highway, and we passed a person and a car on the side of the road.
At that moment, we both noticed that person was a friend of ours, so Jason pulled over so we could help.
(My hubs is pretty much the kindest person I’ve ever met.)
At that time, I felt the sensation of being still while cars passed us on the interstate at 70 mph. It felt dizzying, scary, and fascinating all at once.
This kind of how I feel lately. Watching the world move really fast, trying to grasp at the facts instead of headlines, witnessing the flourishing of my sisters careers and loves while I stand a bit still.
Witnessing. Helping by being still. .
I had a moment today where I realized: it’s ok to be here. I don’t need to burn myself out in order to appear a certain way.
So, I’m changing things in how I look at my part time biz. I’m learning to listen to my needs and wants. I’m cherishing these two loves in my life, because it’s all moving so fast.
Do you feel the need to slow down? If so, how are you doing so right now?
I’m embarrassed to admit how many boxes of markers I have. Or maybe I’m embarassed to admit I’ve paid full price for them all. Any marker companies out there need a spokesmodel? HOLLER!
I started off buying the expensive ‘chalk markers’ but realized that they are actually just acrylic paint markers. I’ve used many different brands (Molotow, Liquitex, Posca) but love how the tips on @sharpie
’s acrylic markers can be reversed after they get worn out. Close second is Molotow because you can refill the marker with the same ink. Any artists out there agree? Disagree? Let’s hear it! 🔊

Trying to make a summer checklist of things to do in Portland. So far it consists of: 1. Try Pip’s donuts 2. Pick berries on Sauvie Island 3. Shuck oysters with @bpren
4. Buy more plants 5. Take more hikes. What else should I add??

Thirst by @scottharrison
“In Thirst, Harrison recounts the twists and turns that built charity: water into one of the most trusted and admired nonprofits in the world. An ode to my desk:
Oh, desk, thank you for your constant support (literally). I know I should keep you cleaner most days, and I shouldn't leave unsupervised, colorful pens out on you because then my 3-year-old will proceed to deface my precious Dubsado notebook.
You and I have created magic together and, despite all the left-handed ink smudges I leave on you, it wouldn't be possible without the endless hours we spend together.
Happy almost the weekend!
What’s your favorite way to rest and unwind after the week?
Whether it’s a bubble bath, binge watching Netflix or a glass of vino, share your vice below! 😘
“I used to dislike being sensitive. I thought it made me weak. But take away that single trait, and you take away the very essence of who I am. You take away my conscience, my ability to empathize, my intuition, my creativity, my deep appreciation of the little things, my vivid inner life, my keen awareness to others’ pain, and my passion for it all.” — Caitlin Japa
Does your visual branding look homemade or professional? What do you think? Let me know in the comments - I’d love to know! 👇🏻
Pretty excited about this! 🙌🏻✨
You really can't go wrong with a @thebodycoach
I love that they're so quick to make & absolutely packed with flavour.
This harissa & chickpea salad was a marry of the most delicious flavours & went down a treat for our Friday night dinner.
I'm trying some intermittent fasting with @yourhealthangel
so was a rush to get it made & ate for 6pm. Curious to see how I get on with this. Day 5 & going well so far.

Is it awkward to introduce myself on Instagram? This is our chance to get to know each other better, so you know I have to take it. 😍 Since were talking about awkward things, I used to have a huge fear of my closet as a child. Was poooositive Closet Man was in there, y’all, and that he was going to steal my belongings! WHAT is that? I’m getting scared just thinking about it 🤣 I got a friend request when I was in college from “Klaus Itman” ....yes, CLOSET MAN! 😱Thanks, Dad. 😒👌🏻 Your turn, what’s a childhood fear or story you can share so I don’t feel so alone here?
“Do whatever brings you to life, then. Follow your own fascinations, obsessions, and compulsions. Trust them. Create whatever causes a revolution in your heart.⠀⠀
The rest of it will take care of itself.”⠀⠀

Hey y’all!! As you spend some time over on my corner of the World Wide Web you’ll learn a few things about me. #fridayintroductions
Like I’m from the south, I look a lot younger than I really am, I’m a photographer by night and weekends and work for corporate America by day. I eat like a glorified toddler and shop way more than I should. Those are the obvious things but when you meet me in person or spend anytime with me you’ll learn more about my heart. I deeply care for my people and will do just about anything for them. I’m really gullible. I’m a believer and will stand for Him any day and my faith is really important to me. I sometimes think I’m really cool and funny other times I’m an introvert and hardly speak. My best friends typically come first. -PS- shout out to @lbessphotography
for making my purple wall dreams come true💜
It’s Friday and we’re ready to enjoy the warm weather this weekend!
Hey friends 👋🏻 Sometimes I like to get a little peek into the world of the people I follow, so I thought it would be fun to do an intro post if you’re new around here! ✨
I’m Jessica! I’ve constantly wondered why I wasn’t quite as “emotional” as all my other friends, but then I found out I’m an ENTJ on the Myers Briggs and FINALLY understood! 🙌🏻😂 I’m a personality test nerd allll the way, and a 3 on the Enneagram. If you still understand what I’m talking about right now - you’re my people. ;)
One of the biggest things that DOES stir my heart (I promise I have one 😉) is prison ministry. Almost two years ago the Lord opened a door for me to teach a bible study at women’s prison, and he literally shoved me through that door (in the nicest way possible). I couldn’t be my grateful. My entire mindset & perspective on everything in life has shifted. Every week I get to hang out with some of my favorite people. We laugh, weep, rejoice, and pray together and it’s the greatest gift.
I love getting to the end of a long work day & ending up in the kitchen making dinner. I’m a savory over sweet girl ANY day and dinner is my favorite meal hands down. 🙌🏻 I’m a diva about food and want it to have ALL the flavor and ALL the fun. I think some people would categorize that as “boujee” and I don’t even care.
I love my people. My friends & family are so dear to me and I wouldn’t be who I am today without them. Being the oldest of four is one of my favorite roles and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. (LOVE YA SIBS 😉)
There’s a lot more life that happens around here than what you see in these squares, but I’m grateful that YOU are here for a small part of the journey. ✨ Thanks for hanging around my little corner of this crazy little thing called Instagram. ;) Happy Friday, friends! (And hit me up with your personality if you know it because I CARE! 🤙🏻)
