I hear A LOT of misconceptions about essential oils. One is that its just about a smell. It’s such a big misconception that brands like Airwick use it as a marketing campaign. A sweet potato breakfast casserole goin down this mornin!
We snagged the recipe from Pinterest (Its called sausage & potato whole 30 breakfast lasagna), and it has been a great option for holidays, brunch, having company over, etc. so there’s a dish for each eating style to have! I paired it with some berries and flaxseed and am feeling very satisfied.
Having dishes like this to put together, makes all of those occasions much less overwhelming knowing there is something I will be able to eat! Plus, you will most likely not be the only one who enjoys it🙃
What do nuts, seeds, and avocados have in common? Besides the fact that they’re delicious, they all happen to be great food sources of magnesium.⠀
We need magnesium to aid in calcium absorption, which is key for building and retaining strong bones (duh). But it's also great for helping to lower blood pressure, aiding in more restful sleep, boosting performance and preventing migraine headaches. In fact, one study showed a 40% reduction in frequency of migraine aura among people who took a daily magnesium supplement. So with my health history, it's no secret why I'm doubling up on this powerful healing mineral. The more you know, right?

Far from it.
Two weeks of very clean eating (not counting alcoholic beverages, of course), I’ve lost 4.5 lbs, but, more importantly, I feel so much better!!
Apart from this cold, that’s been hanging around for over a month and has almost convinced me that it’s actually hay fever 🤧.
Today, however, I’m feeling pretty rubbish.
Probably due to the fact that, yesterday, I completely overindulged in fast foods and general crap. Not even kidding, it was So bad that, fairly early on, I fell into a high fat and sugar induced coma🤤😂!
I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that, hell, I’m the first to admit that it’s hard to argue with my very strong sweet tooth and that beautiful, slice of cake, looks far more appealing than an apple (and it goes better with coffee), but everything in moderation, is my key. I cannot do that every day/a few times a week or even weekly! As a general rule, I follow the 80/20 plan. That is, at least 80%of the time, I will eat clean and I will not beat myself up for having a couple of maltesers, at the end of the day. I like to look forward to one cheat meal, a week, and as I am a creature of habit, with a huge love of ice cream, my cheat meal usually consists of, half a tub of Pralines & Cream Haagen Dazs, on a sat night😋.

So, I am nursing my headache, with lots of water and feeding my sluggish body, with lots of clean foods today and I am looking forward to my energy levels returning, as normal 🍎🥝🍓🍋🍇🍉🥗🌽🥑🥦🏃🏽♀️💪🏻🏃🏽♀️💪🏻🏃🏽♀️.

My goal this weekend? Organization!!! I have let my house get a little too cluttered and it was affecting my attitude. I think that’s why I was so down and let small stuff cause self-doubt yesterday. So the agenda this weekend is to fix that. A physical and mental decluttering 🙌 per-say. It’s amazing what some organization can do for your mindset! 🤗

Good life eating whatever I wanted a husband who loves me (still does) and life was good. I came across this pic and it makes me wanna cry.
