This is a great shoulder rehab and activation exercise to engage the rotator cuff and prepare it for loading (if appropriate). ✅ Ensure the shoulder blades are 'back and down' and the spine is flat against the wall/floor. ❌ Avoid 'rib-flare' something I've discussed in previous videos ✅ Work through a comfortable, smooth range ❌ Avoiding excessive movement pattern compensations to achieve 'full range' such as the shoulder shrug or flaring the elbows out ✅ You can also add an isometric component to this exercise also which offers a nice variation.
