I can't think of a better way to start my Sunday 😊. A delicious 😋 cup of coffee ☕️ with my Keto creamer that gives me good fats so I stay fuller longer and have less cravings 😉. By giving my body good fats, it helps it produce more Ketones on its own and burn the stored fats that I definitely don't want 😜. Plus, the collagen helps with anti aging 😁 and helps my bones and joints be stronger 💪🏻. At 52, I'll take all the natural help I can get to look my best 😉. 'HEALTHIER' FULL BREAKFAST ❤
We don't have to give up super tasty foods when we want to lose weight or become healthier. All we need to do is look for healthier options 👌 Check out my Sunday brunch! The hubby and I knew ......
1 We would be having a few drinks last night (see last post on 'healthier alcohol choices') and therefore we wanted a big brekkie/brunch today - so we planned ahead.
2 We DID NOT want to compromise on taste!
So what choices did we make? ......
😁Eggs done with 'fry light'. Remember that liquids have calories too and normal oil is very high in calories.
😁Bacon can be fatty and soaks up oil so we bought bacon medallions instead and grilled them (28 cals per slice).
😁I absolutely LOVE Richmond sausages and WILL NOT swap them for any other sausage. However, I was able to buy smaller sized ones with much less calories but still the same taste I love.
😁Swapped 2 slices of toast for a wholemeal muffin - saving calories.
😁Used full fat butter as it has been shown to be better for us than lower fat options due to the ingredients. Plus we prefer the taste and would rather a smaller amount of lurpak than a larger amount of nasty tasting low fat spread.
😁Heinz baked beans - gotta be Heinz.
This breakfast/brunch was 500 calories and it was super tasty and filling 😍😍😍 So why did I make these healthier choices? ..... I'm working on losing weight and so I need to be in a calorie deficit. However, this does NOT mean I starve myself or eat the smallest amount of calories I can. I have a set amount of calories to stick to and try to choose healthier options so I can eat as much food as possible for the amount of calories I have. Losing weight doesn't have to be dull and we certainly don't have to cut certain foods out of our diets!! 😁 IT'S ALL ABOUT MAKING HEALTHIER CHOICES! ❤ x

Who wants to give this a Chai?
Spices and Vanilla Huel are a match made in heaven and this simple Chai Smoothie hack is great way to try it out. Just shake the ingredients up the night before and pop in the fridge for the morning - you can even make a batch of spices for next time.
Note: be sure to use the plastic strainer to avoid eating an unwelcome cardamon pod!

Ingredients (serves 3):
– 1 tsp Cardamom pods
– 1 tsp Allspice
– 2 tsp Cinnamon
– ½ tsp Cloves
– 1 tsp Ground ginger
Add all ingredients to a small pot and mix or shake up. Add 1 heaped tsp to your Huel (just as you would a flavour boost) and shake. Adjust to taste. Leave in the fridge overnight or for a minimum of 3 hours to allow cardamom pods to infuse.

I can’t believe we’ve had more snow overnight! Although I’m glad it’s melting away now is it too much to ask for Spring weather when we’re half way through March?! ☀️
