You were drinking your tea while sitting at the dining table with Tom. You just talked and you didn’t even notice how late it was. You could tell that Tom was still trying to be ok even with his father but he wasn’t the same, you saw his smile but you didn’t see the twinkle in his eyes. Just like you when you lost your parents.
Your chatter was interrupted by the door bell ringing. It was probably Harrison, who else would’ve been here so late?
Tom: I’ll get it.
You sat at the dining table waiting. You heard the creaking of the door as it opened and then your heart skipped a beat as the sound of a gun go off. Your mind went blank and the world seemed as if it wasn’t moving anymore. You ran to the front door and Tom... he was motionless on the ground. Blood was spreading everywhere. Your legs were shaking, you felt the world crumble, you toppled to the floor, your hands shook as you crawled to Tom sobbing. You felt as if your heart was being ripped out, you couldn’t move, you couldn’t hear, you couldn’t feel.
You: Tom! Tom please! You can’t leave me too!
