The podcast I listened to this morning was about habits. What they are, how we form them, and how we can correct them. One thing they mentioned was that some things take will power to do. It's not whether or not you have will power (bc everyone has it), It's that there is a limited amount of it per day. And the purpose of habits is to save up that will power for times that you actually need it. So if you dont have the right habits, your will power will get used up quicker. This is why at the end of the day, it can be harder to do that workout, or eat healthy (unless those are already habits), because you have no more will power.
So while I'm working on correcting my habits, I'm going to try to plan the things that are hardest for me for earlier in the day, with hopes that I'll be more likely to get them done.
I'm thinking this is what I want my next free challenge week to be based on. We all have habits that we'd like to alter. I'm going to take the next week to put it together and then we will start the challenge on July 30 😃

about some basics for keeping a morning routine, and for sticking to it when traveling.
If you fly Southwest over the next month or so, open every copy you can find on the plane (or just your row, if you want to be lazy) to this page. Then if your seatmate comments on it, say “I’ve heard the book is really good, you should probably stock up now in time for the holidays.” You can then avoid speaking with them for the rest of the flight, as is proper.

speak about Creativity: “Everything that is interesting is 90% boring...and we are in a culture that’s addicted to the good part, the exciting part, the fun part.” I laughed out loud when I heard her say that. It’s so true! It is incredibly difficult dealing with the tedium of practicing something challenging, day after day; but that is exactly what separates the artists from the quitters. The bright lights blinded me and stabbing pain shot into my brain. “Wake up, five minutes till we leave,” he said flatly. “Dad, five more minutes, I don’t want to get up yet,” I said, my 14-year old body writhing in morning suffering. “Let’s go — time to practice.” I’ll always remember those words. Those days when my parents were still married and my weekends consisted of peanut butter pancakes and large glasses of full milk and countless hours of shooting hoops with my brothers and my dad in the driveway.
The early morning workouts sucked, and it was my fault for asking for them.
I told my dad as a kid, (I just decided to call him Big Daddy Damon Ray), that I wanted to be great at basketball. He never took my dreams lightly. Even as my older brother Jeremy decided to pursue other sports and endeavors, it was my dad that was tugging at my blankets and flipping on the lights before the sun was up.
There is no time to overthink feelings on, “Why should I get up right now?” See, Big Daddy Damon Ray knew there wasn’t always the feeling of motivation when building successful habits and mastering the craft you feel passionate about, especially as you begin your journey each day. “Motivation is like ice. It melts when a choice gets too hot to make. That ice melts when times get tough, when mornings get early, when it’s time to put in the work — you need habits to help you make the decision to practice,” he’d say with his Southern Michigan farmer drawl. .

When it comes to food, we all love it. Whether it's cultural, tradition and just for taste, sometimes we get carried away. I think food as a source of fuel, I mean it is FUEL, but ppl take food way more serious. They indulge in food, that what makes them gain #weight
if you're wanting to #losefat
you cannot indulge in food, ESPECIALLY, if you're consuming junk. People are mostly addicted to junk foods such as ice cream 🍦🍧🍨, anything that has sugar 🍭🍩🍫 and food that has poor nutrition such as pizza 🍕 n cake 🍰. Now it is okay to eat this once a week type deal but NOT EVERYDAY or every other day. I see people with this habit and they wonder how or why they're gaining weight n why they can't loss it..
🙏 You gotta change your lifestyle, your habits in order to make something achievable. Reward yourself after a week's worth Dieting or after exercising with pizza cake or something sweet just to satisfy yourself.

All this time I was thinking I know what my plans are, this time around I am going to be logical put the dreams away and start working hard your normal 9-5 career. Only to go to work and be reminded how much you missed writing and how everything including the people remind you of your true calling in life. I call this God way of redirecting you to your true calling in life. Now you have two ways to go about it either you listen to your true and most inner calling or you ignore it and that calling simmers away as you get busier with life. Your choice🌻
