Been keeping the progress hidden lately, but we still out here working for them gainz B 💪😬
Left: 163lbs at about 7% April 2017 (I ate all the chickens in sight and only drank water)
Middle: Bulk-mode supposedly, but I felt fat more than anything😂 180lbs at about 13.8% end of Feb. 2018 (tried a clean bulk, said fuck that! And ate/drank everything in sight)
Right: 172lbs at about 9.4% Today
(eating everything in sight in moderation, but avoiding sugary beverages)
Goal is to maintain 170lbs+ but be as lean as I was at 163lbs..

The day I quit my gym was the day I became the most committed to my fitness I’ve ever been. Normal gyms don’t work for me...
I didn’t like waiting around for a class to start OR worse running late and paying for a class I missed.
Going out of town always ruined my consistency because I couldn’t take my gym with me so I didn’t workout... which often led to “taking a break” when I got home.
I always felt uncomfortable trying new moves or machines so I stuck to the ones I knew (boringggg 🤦🏻♀️).
I need a trainer to guide me but cannot afford the extra fee (helloooo teacher salary 🙋🏻♀️).
So, these home workouts I can take anywhere, start anytime, do on my own or with a friend, AND have a kickbooty trainer! That has made ALL the difference in how I view my fitness 💪🏼
Not gonna lie, sooooo hard to keep motivated in this weather 💪🏼❄️☃️

Make no mistake, I am more than I believe or you see. I’m that guy you snicker at in the gym, I’m the guy who’s doing shit a little different than you, I’m the guy doing this for ALL THE RIGHT REASONS! I’m not as strong as the next dude, but I’m not weak either. Yeah I’m doing dead lifts with dumbbells because my left arm is 2 inches shorter than my right, or wrapping a strap around the bar to make up the difference but I’m still doing it. I’m doing it because I want to be different not so I can be like you ,starting this lifestyle has changed the way I look at everything in life. I’m almost 36 but I feel 20 inside, growing old and weak scares the living hell out of me so I keep pushing on and on. Don’t ever doubt me because I will prove them all wrong. I’ve been off for a couple of days with my back but it’s given me time to re-evaluate, regroup and refocus. I know now why I want this as bad as I’ve ever wanted anything, I now know what I want the end result to be. I want other 30 something dads and husbands who have forgotten the days of their youth when they were strong and athletic to rekindle that love and passion for themselves, to realize they are more and that they can still accomplish great things. So I’ve been spacing my workouts to every 12 hours. It’s been working out rather nicely for the last couple weeks. Last night (well early in the hours of the a.m), I decided that I wouldn’t go in the morning to let my body rest. So I stayed home and was lazy. L. A. Z. Y. 🤦🏻♀️ Now that I’m about to head out to work I’m rethinking that plan. I’m fighting every urge to pack a gym bag and go after work. I said I would rest...but now I’m thinking I rested too long and maybe I should pack a bag. You know what, imma pack a bag “just in case” lol.
