While kids were at camp this last week, Brian & I got to work switching my office/our guest room with their play/school room. Here’s the before & after of the new guest room / my office. I’m thrilled with how it turned out! What do you think?
I could use your suggestions though for the couch. The one in the pictures is an old hide-a-bed we bought used many years ago. It’s not very comfortable to sleep on for our guests. 😕 I’m looking for a different couch that turns into a queen bed and that is nice as a couch AND is comfortable when in bed form. Futons are out for me as I don’t love them in either form. Do you know of anything that you could recommend? Colour wise, it would need to match the room (which this one obviously does not 😬) so maybe a grey or white or a shade of blue that doesn’t clash with what we already have. Any other suggestions? .
✨Make yourself at home ✨Thought I’d put this piece of lettering forward as a possible print idea for a guest room wall as part of the @mary_maddocks@etsyuk#EtsyforMe challenge this week :) •

So true! 💛 You can never have too much happiness in your life. What makes you happy? Don is happy anytime he is riding his motorcycle or playing his guitar. Music and hats make me happy! Have a HAPPY Thursday! 😄
That morning light 👌🏻 Our guest room is where all of our old furniture and accessories find their resting place...anyone else use this “strategy” in the guest room? Reusing old pieces and adding a few new/polishing items can result in a beautiful space! It may not be perfect, but [with that light] it has become one of my favorite rooms!
