A city is not gauged by its length and width, but by the broadness of its vision and the height of its dreams. - Herb Caen
Day 162: Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
When Tim, Phil, Liz and I rented motorbikes to explore Phuket, we found this small hidden gem. There were far fewer people at this beach then at Karon or Patong, and we had a lot of fun climbing the rocks. .
Shortly after we left, it started to pour, and we still had about 45 minutes of riding left to get to our apartment! We were completely soaked by the time we got back, but the adventure was a highlight of our time in Thailand so far. .
It's funny how something that would be annoying at home (like getting rained on), can be fun when you're traveling. Has anyone else experienced something like that?

Many months of photos to catch up on, for now I give you Polignano a Mare, one of the most beautiful little beaches, even better at dusk and out of season 🌹
Beach therapy in progress 🌊

How amazing it is to have moments where you completely feel that they only happened because God helped you.
As I mentioned in my last post, we like to rise early to get unobstructed photos of certain points of interest. As we queued to enter the Royal Palace of Madrid I took this photo.
The sprawling courtyard was empty at that time save for an occasional palace worker or security guard. The sun was low in the clear blue sky, causing the heavy shadow to the right of the photo. As we take our photos with our smartphone cameras, we don't have filters to address lighting in our shots. Do you travel with just your smartphone? Or do you bring along a favorite camera?

How often do you look back and spend hours over-thinking and over-analysing something that happened ages ago?
I could have said that.
I should have gone.
I should have stayed.
I shouldn't have asked this.
I should have said yes.
How often do you find these "shoulda" and "coulda" running your peace of mind?
I used to obsess about past scenarios and I would spend hours reliving those scenarios and imagining about a million things I should have said or done differently to avoid certain goodbyes to postpone certain heartbreaks to make someone stay or to make someone look at me differently.
Guess what? It doesn't matter. It really doesn't.
No matter what you would have said or done, you cannot make someone stay if they don't want to.
You cannot make someone love you.
You cannot make someone respect you and value you by not being you or by pretending to someone you are not and even if you manage to, ask yourself, is it really worth it?
Do you wanna stay with someone who doesn't appreciate your presence, you doesn't admire you and celebrate you.. No you don't.
You deserve someone who feels proud to have you. Who looks at you like you are the best thing that ever happened to them. Anything less than that is not worth it.
Choose your dignity.
Choose your pride.
If you won't love, respect and value yourself, how would others? Show them how to love you by loving yourself first.
Show them how to put your first by putting yourself first. 🕉❤️ 📸 - @tomoboyum

Not sure if the day could be any lovelier to sit by the rose garden and admire all the statues 😍

oggi mi perdo a fissare la laguna.. e voi come passerete questo sabato di giugno? 🌊 Mare o 🏔montagna? Buon weekend amici viaggiatori! .
4000 steps later... and that’s what I’d call a very productive Saturday morning ✨
I’ve now lost count of how may times I’ve been to the Great Wall (maybe this is my 7th or 8th time) but I just love it! It leaves me in awe every time I go and now I can officially say I’ve seen it during every season 🌱☀️🍂❄️
Home of the famous Brontë sisters, Haworth is an undisputed literary mecca, attracting visitors from all around the world. With its historic cobbled Main Street, iconic parsonage and rolling moors, the picturesque proportions of this Airedale village exude a vintage charm that makes you feel you've stepped into another era.

When you want to enjoy all the scenary there, you should using a car.
If you such an athletic person or really like walking you can walk but it needs about 3-5 hours. The distance is about 7 km.
All the scenary there is beautiful.
You can visit Shuzuang Garden, Piano Museum, Old house, Gulangyu History Museum, Sunlight Rock. I can't mention all because I haven't visit all.
It nominated as the most romantic palace.
My favourite beach in Lagos.
