I'm pretty sure this is one of my favorite combos ever. Ground turkey + Annie's cheddar macaroni and cheese + broccoli (on the side because who wants to mix that in with everything else?). I could seriously eat this daily. 🤤

Ego lifting will only get you so far 🙅🏻♂️ (and probably leave you injured) —
These are an awesome exercise to ensure you utilize your full, and proper, range of motion. And get the gains you’re after!
Read below for a few tips 👀👇🏼
Follow these cues to perform your seated incline bicep curls with proper technique:
✅ Place the bench at a 45 degree angle and drive your back into the pad
✅ Keep your scapula stabilized, and your shoulders stationary at your sides
✅ Pull the weight up using strictly your biceps by moving only from the elbow
✅ Control the eccentric portion of the rep maintaining tension on your biceps
❌ Do not use momentum to aid you!! (if you have to throw the weight, use a lighter dumbbell)
❌ Do not cheat your range of motion (if you can’t control the weight through your ENTIRE range of motion, use a lighter dumbbell)

Here to humble myself a little from the things i forget… when you get up in the morning just remember how fortunate you are to be alive, to breath, to think, to love, to do something you couldn’t before, to do a workout and of course to run.
to think that others out there don’t have the ability to run, lift weights or experience the same feeling you get after a workout. You don’t always do this for you, even if #doitforyou
is what i preach, you also do this for those who can’t as well.
Make your schedule and make it happen! you got two legs and some will power, you have no excuses.
Morning workouts are my happy place! Even when my effort level for my run is somewhere between OMG and WTF am i doing! ha but ultimately JUST MAKE SURE YOU’RE HAPPY IN LIFE FOR THE WONDERFUL THINGS YOU GET TO WORK WITH!

Good things happen to those who BUST their ass and make it happen for themselves. Work hard and find your limits. When you find your limits dig deep and push them even further. Follow this outside of the gym and into your personal life and crush the f*ck out of your dreams and make them into a reality .
This is only the beginning for me. I haven't found my limits yet but when I do, I'll be ready.. I am 1stphorm.

Today I’m sharing with you my current go-to lunch 😍😍😍😍😍😍 I have literally been OBSESSED with this bowl! It is the curry chickpea bowl from @sweetgreen.
It has kale, warm quinoa, roasted chicken, hot curry chickpeas, shredded carrots, shredded cabbage, raisins, cilantro, toasted almonds, and a curry yogurt dressing and it is DELICIOUS! 💗💗💗
😵Did you know that I used to HATE salads? I grew up with my mom always making salads with spinach and grilled chicken. I’ve never been a fan of spinach and the grilled chicken was always a little dry. So I always thought salads were boring and gross and not fun to eat.
😍🥗But then I discovered Sweetgreen. When I decided to start “getting healthy” I decided that salads were something I should probably eat. My big in my sorority took me to Sweetgreen and a whole new world of salads opened up to me 😂 I discovered that salads didn’t have to be spinach with overcooked chicken! That I could actually put ingredients that I LIKED into my salads! And I discovered that a good dressing can make or break a salad. And I learned how you could transform a boring salad by adding a scoop of grains (wild rice, quinoa, etc) to add texture and flavor and substance. For the next two years I ate a harvest bowl (add avocado because duh) from sweetgreen at least once per week on average 😂 And then I started branching out and making my own salads. And now I have developed a taste for them and crave them all the time! You can pack so much nutrition and flavor into salads. Salads don’t have to be, and shouldn’t be “boring diet food” they should be a delicious, nutritious staple in any person’s diet that you can look forward to eating 💗

There is a better way. We believe in fuel. We even believe in carbs 😲 We believe in a full range of healthy foods that will make your body run more efficiently and your brain more happily. Start with a test, and see where your metabolism really is. Then you’ll have a clear picture of what habits you can change to be the strongest, most energetic, healthiest version of YOU!!
I get so inspired by other people that I’ve always got my head in a book, a website or chatting to people and tonight’s Roasted Stuffed Peppers with Buckwheat and pine nuts came from that and it was absolutely gorgeous.
