Ate and drank far too much the last couple of days, but I'm back on it today! 😊
Doubled up on the blueberries this morning.. 30g inside the waffle and 33g on top. Added a few slices of real bacon to my egg and swapped out the flat out for Trader Joe's which is only 10c.. granted it's smaller but worth it.

Saturday morning session. 6:05am first warmup set of squats. 20 minutes later first out of 4 work sets of 5 reps at 170kg. First set terrible. Second third and fourth (on the video) went ok. The fifth one ready set squat, shake, squat again, last rep look up, that’s a bad thing, poop yourself and fail. Thanks for support arms there :) Than you shake it off and just casually press and deadlift. Done by 7.40am. See clients from 8am. Happy weekend.

MUSHROOM, LEEK AND CHICKEN BAKE. .
Soooo earlier in the week I picked up a pack of chopped mushrooms with the intention of doing something really creative with it. I got to the end of the week .... all set to take a mini break and am left with a fridge full of leftovers.... including the mushrooms 🤦🏼♀️..... This is what I cobbled together to save any waste! .
INGREDIENTS:- leftovers (see previous posts) cauliflower soup, chicken skewers.... along with ... chopped mushrooms, leek, spinach, turmeric, black pepper, coconut oil, eggs. .
Sweat down mushrooms and leak in heated coconut oil, add in finely chopped chicken pieces, turmeric and black pepper, stir in spinach and cauliflower soup bring to a gentle simmer and then take off the heat and leave to cool to ‘just warm’. Mix in whisked egg to thicken mixture and then bake for 20-30 min at 180. .

I’m not one for taking a huge amount of supplements these days.
In the past, when it came to supplements to help me build muscle, I used to think the more the better.
At one point, every month, I would buy.
➡️ Impact Whey Protein.
➡️ Casein Protein.
➡️ Hurricane XS Protein (post workout).
➡️ Various Pre workouts.
➡️ Instant Oats.
➡️ Multi Vitamins.
➡️ Protein bars (occasionally).
You can probably tell I lived at home during this time with little to no outgoings...nowadays, I’ve got a mortgage to pay 😅.
But in all seriousness, taking all of the above was completely unnecessary.
It’s been said 1,000’s times before and I’ll say it again, Supplements are there to SUPPLEMENT your diet not to replace it.
Your focus should always be on hitting your Calories, Macros and Micros through food.
Supplements do have their place though & here is the 3 I’m taking myself atm and would recommended.
