So what music do I listen to? As you see I was growing up with 'classic' hip hop & rap music, especially artists like 50 Cent, The Game, Eminem & plenty more.. that's why I love doing piano cover & tutorials of this Genre... and I'm really glad you guys enjoy them so far. But for the last couple of years, I'm listening to everything I like - rock, dubstep, pop and even instrumentals like movie soundtracks - but yeah, if I would need to decide a genre, I would definitely stick to hip hop. Here a couple of artist I've listened to the last couple of weeks the most: Logic, Nipsey Hussle, G-Eazy, Russ and NF ✌
In our programs, we strongly encourage all our members do something called the 4 x 4 protocol. This is a cardiorespiratory program that has been used in many studies. This protocol has been shown to be fast and effective at improving cardiorespiratory fitness and in reducing cardiometabolic risk factors (i.e. high blood pressure, insulin resistance etc.) In fact, this form of HIT is so effective, significant benefits are seen within days to weeks.
There are so many things to do with our health we can’t control but one thing we can control, is fitness. Fitness is protective - especially against cardiovascular disease which is the number one killer here in Aus. What’s exciting is that research has shown us that you don’t have to do hours of crazy exercise to get fit. So I have my clients doing 1, 2, 3 or 4 intervals from the 4 x 4 protocol as any number of intervals are extremely beneficial. Even better - the more intervals you do, the less days you do it. The less intervals you do more more days you do it BUT with one interval only taking 4 minutes, that’s an achievable goal each day, don’t you think?
