I found this old pic in my gallery and thought to myself how a simple filter made me stand out so much further on social media all that time ago. Some simple warmth, brightness and contrast caught people’s eye and created an effect which made them engage. The funny thing is social media is touched up, changed and perfected from top to bottom. It’s impossible to tell how edited or raw something is these days unless you were there taking the image or the video. This platform is evolving into something crazy where the edits are getting stronger and the posts are becoming more bold. Just be weary of what you see, just don’t compare it to reality because in the end of the day your reality can’t be edited and touched up to make it look “perfect”. .

Machine Shoulder Press w/ Neutral Grip:
I like to experiment with grip positioning with certain exercises. Personally, when comparing the traditional, pronated grip, to the neutral grip, I think the neutral grip puts a different emphasis on the shoulders— especially on how the posterior shoulder’s function.
The comeback is always stronger than the setback.

Day 665: Power 💥 x4 complete! I'm usually not a big fan of power days 🙄, unless it's a run/row 😍, but this one was good ☺. Love the clean to press and snatches 😍😍😍! Didn't think we were going to have a leaderboard today 😲, so my floor work was kinda ruined when I went balls to walls on the rower 😬! (I don't know what we were doing in the 3rd block, but I was spent 😂!) It was odd that we got 4 chances to improve our time 😃. Started off with a 34.3 row, which wasn't bad 🤷♀️, but I knew I could do better because I slowed down at the end 🤦♀️. Got 34.6 on my second row 😢. Changed my foot plate setting, my oar reach and took all my frustration out on the third one and got that baby to 32.2 🙌🏻. Probably not good enough to be queen of the castle all day 🤔 (we have some freaking beast mode female rowers 😲🚣♀️🙌🏻), but it was barely good enough to make the leaderboard at 5am 🤗! I knew I wasn't going any lower than that 😬! I want 29 so bad 😣, but I can't get my 100m rows under 16 seconds 😭. (I actually might have on the 3rd row, because I had 87 meters left at 16 seconds 😲!) I know my rowing isn't top notch 😬 on leaderboard days 🤔🤷♀️, but I'm just trying to get out of there as fast as I can 😂. I swear I'm not hurting my back 🙄😊! On normal days, my form is amazing 😊☺, ok it's good 😁!And I did end up running 2.323 miles at 3pm, which is bada** for me 🙌🏻!
