, creator of Charlie Brown. 3) At that point, in 1968, Black children and white children, had not seen themselves, depicted inside of a classroom together, according to Glickman (Florido, 2015). 4) With input, for African Americans that Glickman knew, Franklin was introduced as a “son of a father who’s off in Vietnam, as this new “regular kid” plays at the beach (Florido, 2015 p. 1),” 5). He is described as quiet, confident, and does not say unkind words (Peanuts.com, 2017), 6). In the classroom, he sits, on seat, ahead of #PeppermintPatty
(Peanuts.com, 2017), 7) He does not live in the same neighborhood as Charlie Brown, he lives in a neighborhood over from him and attends school with Peppermint Patty and #Marcy
