Did you know squats might now always be the answer to a rounder 🍑? Yes, froyo will forever be my response of how to grow BUT this movement (yes the burning is killer - I know) is one of my favorites. I love incorporating stability and balance into my workouts. I hold the dumbbell on one side to keep movement consistent and controlled. 🏆 Working towards well performed exercises that target a few muscles is beneficial to me especially when I don’t have a lot of time in the gym. 🕓 YA GIRL IS BUSY but gets it done 💪🏽
It's Transformation Tuesday! The past year of my life has been FULL or transformation for me. I have made several decisions to change my life, which were once just mere dreams. I grew up in the same town, with the same group of people my entire life. I knew nothing other than Bay City, MI. I often dreamed of moving to Florida, even as a child. But, to actually do it? Was it possible? Was it feasible? Was it practical? We prayed on it and finally made the decision to go all in and make the move! SO CRAZY to think that this is our life now. I was once the girl to shy to go out and meet new people, try new sports, take up new hobbies. But when you make the decision to curate the life you always wanted, change is necessary, even if it's uncomfortable. I got the courage to show up to local meet up groups, join a bible study and volunteer with the youth. I have met some of the MOST AMAZING people, and I couldn't be more thankful. I'm trying new things and loving it. All of this has taught me many things but mostly- If you aren't happy with something... change it!
So... I'm staying true to my new way of life, as it hasn't failed me yet. I decided to take action, serious action to do something about my health. So far, I am LOVING how it's making me feel- both inside and out. Full of energy and full of life. I'm committed to this, even when it's hard, even when it's inconvenient. Not because I hate myself, but because I love myself too much to stay complacent.
I hope this encourages you, in whatever walk of life you are in. It's up to you to create your happiness. Don't let it slip you by. Do something that scares you, do something you've always dreamed of. <3
