I’ve found the best way to get my groove back is to organise myself the night before so I have everything ready to go.. right down to my socks! I even have my cup next to the coffee on the bench! I wasn’t feeling it this morning but I couldn’t avoid going if I tried because everything was there laid out in front of me! As you can see I’m pretty happy with myself for getting myself here & it feels sooo good when I do! Muscle memory has kicked In! Embrace the down time but don’t put off getting back into it .. you will be glad when you do!

Así que seguro algo bueno va quedar de tomar riesgos, esforzarse y tener paciencia.

Yesterday, I decided to pick up a meal from @fitlifefoods
for today’s lunch🍽. I went with the “Supercharged Chicken” meal that consist of chicken, broccoli, and sweet potato. If you’re tight on cash, these meals can be quite costly running from $8-12+ depending on the size 😵. In a pinch, it’s good for those looking to have a quality meal when if they don’t have time to prep it themselves. I’m not against meal prep services but I’ll stick to prepping myself to save some coin💵.

95% of the time this is how I look. No I don’t have a six pack all day long. This is me relaxed, full of food/water and still smiling! Being in this industry causes a lot of insecurities but everyone has to realize that 95% of Fitness Instagram posts are flexed, have optimal lighting and are taken when the person feels the best. I know I’m lean and in better shape than most of the world but even I play mind games with myself. Where are my abs? I miss being shredded like on stage. My arms are tiny. The list goes on and on in my head even though I know I’m physically in good shape and healthy. If you are someone who struggles with this too, remember that you are not alone!

Often we only see the physical change but we don’t really get to see behind the scenes. To say Paris had to go through a few challenges would be an understatement, from personal challenges to injury he’s had a few to deal with
Through it all he’s managed to stay as consistent as he can and still managed to transform his physique
116lbs at 2 weeks out last competition season (working with another coach).
120lbs at 7.5 weeks out this season.
Alyssa rocked the same progressive overload training split (with a few swapped exercises when needed) for 40+ weeks this offseason and you are looking at what came of it. She didn’t complain about being bored, or workouts not being new and exciting. Alyssa just showed up, worked to beat the log book, and was kept properly fed.
If you are trying to add muscle, work to add strength. Keep your movements the same and be a little better next time that same workout rolls around!

The problem with fad diets is that most of the time people will see some results and lose weight. But this is mainly due to depriving yourself of certain nutrients and inadvertently putting yourself in an extreme calorie deficit. -
You end up losing some fat AND muscle ❌ -
This will negatively impact your metabolic needs and most likely result in you gaining weight as soon as you adopt your “normal” eating habits again. ❌❌
Also, you most likely will not learn anything from the experience other than how to restrict yourself to achieve your weight loss goals. So, you will generally have no clue how to maintain your new and “somewhat” improved body ❌❌❌
Don’t fall victim to this approach👆🏻
Stick to the basics✅
Track you calories/macros and do some exercise that you enjoy✅✅
Learn how to do things right. How to maintain and lead a more healthy/balanced lifestyle.✅✅✅
And most importantly: Don’t set yourself up for a terrible rebound and end up in a worse place than you were when you started...
The program said to do 5RM (5 Rep Max) and I did that with 200lbs 🙌🏻 Another PR added to the book 🖊📖
I feel like I’ve had tacos everyday this week, but I have a #macrohack
that has made them delicious every time (hence why one taco has a bite taken out of it 😂)! On my chicken tacos, I use this @tacobell
sauce and it’s a game changer! Best part is per serving it’s only 2 carbs! I found these at Aldi but I think maybe Walmart carries it too.

the left was my first competition in 1999 ... The competition on the right is from 2012. I have now been training for almost 35 years. The point of my post is to talk about patients! It takes time to build muscle! There’s a lot of negativity rolling around right now about competing ... for good reason! Coaches/athletes are taking short cuts and operating with total disregard for the health of the athlete. This is disheartening! It is important in my opinion to compete for yourself not just for a trophy or pro card. Of course those things are fun & exciting but at what expense. Take the time to build your metabolism, slowly reduce body fat and bring your best package to the stage. Be careful doing back to back shows without adequate time to allow your hormones to recover. Be proud of your stellar health above all else and inspire others from that point. When we leave this world what do we want to leave behind? The regret of too little quality time with friends & family in an endless pursuit of a goal based on subjective criteria OR a balanced life full of incredible relationships where your fitness journey helps others to improve their lives? I love competing & coaching athletes that rock the stage! I am only suggesting that we all take a look at the motivation behind competing and the lengths we are willing to go to to “win”. I would love to read your thoughts to this post below... .

This is a delicious coconut flavour ice cream in a real coconut cone. It actually looks pretty cool although I don't like coconut. I visited my secondary school today although I finished 3 days ago. I had to return my textbooks because the school is too cheapskate to let us keep them. It felt weird visiting my school, I felt like a ghost and if no one knew me. All I got was giggles and laugh at my outfit which makes me insecure about going to college because I'm scared that same thing will happen there. I wore a pink and white check shirt with pink chinos and chucks. I didn't even wear makeup so I don't know what I wore wrong. I didn't anyway any makeup or anything too over. Maybe the pink was a little too much. I didn't find majority of my teachers therefore I have to stay the whole day which pissed me off. I didn't even have time to say goodbye to my favourite teachers because they both disappeared and when I did find them they were in a rush or doing something so the most I got out of them was "Hi". I do realise most of yous don't care about this stupid story so I'll end it here

menos importante que a 👉🏼ingestão ⓉⓄⓉⒶⓁ de calorias👈🏼. Na verdade, enquanto você estiver em déficit calórico, você pode ter 1, 2, 4, 8 ou mesmo
mais de 16 refeições e obter exatamente os mesmos resultados de perda de peso. 👊🏼
Então, o ideal é você pegar sua quantidade de calorias e macros diários e dividir pelo número de refeições que você GOSTA de ter durante o dia, o que te deixa bem e satisfeito. Desta forma fica mais fácil para você administrar e conseguir bater seus macros. 🙌🏻
