Sometimes I like to self-reflect about all the things I struggle with, and then put myself in those situations in hopes of overcoming them. Although I am a running coach, running is probably my least favorite way to workout. Therefore, I’ve been making myself run a lot more (masochist or enthusiast?) Welp, thanks to @barrysbootcamp

Just a quick late night back and bicep workout because I just wasn’t feeling it today 🤷🏾♀️ but I still made it and gave it my all! 💪🏾💪🏾
Today marks my first entry: Having a dedicated training log, in my opinion is one of the most crucial things you can do whether you are a beginner or an advanced climber. It doesn’t matter if you only climb one day a week or five days a week. You should write down what you do during your session. What type of climbing weather inside or outside, what grades you climbed, your goals for the session and at the end of the day write down how you can improve for your next session. I will give you an example soon of my personal training log if you need some inspiration.

Ask yourself every day if what you’re doing now is getting you closer to where you want to be tomorrow. If the answer is no, take a step back and reevaluate your priorities. This is definitely something I’ve had to do this week. You have to realize how much the little things count and put forth your best effort with literally everything you do. Take one day at a time and focus on it. I lost a little focus but I’ve re-evaluated my priorities and am coming back more focused than ever. I know what I want and what I have to do to get there and I’m not going to keep talking about it. I’m going to fucking DO IT!!!!
