If you are looking to eat more of a plant-based diet, let me remind you that it is so insanely easy to whip up a meal!🙌🏻 When we start to cut out the animal products we often have an overwhelming feeling of “what the heck can I eat?” - Well let me tell you, there are plenty of incredible foods you can still eat that will leave you feeling so good after each meal!✨I have found that a good way to start is by experimenting with a few of your favourite veggies in a stir-fry, or even simply by roasting them! Choose 3-4 of your favourite vegetables, a dark leafy green, then add in a tin of chickpeas and you are done!😍 If stir frying, add all of the ingredients to the pan, and if roasting, add your roasted veg and chickpeas to a bed of fresh or wilted greens.🌱 Don’t forget to spice your meal up with your favourite spice blends! so happy and proud of myself for challenging and transforming my mind, body, and soul the past few months.
last week I finished an 80 day fitness program. one of the hardest programs I have ever done. It challenged me mentally, physically, and emotionally. I have grown SO much and have learned how to make health and fitness a lifestyle, not a quick fix.
yes I have lost inches throughout my entire body, but that's not why I'm sharing this. I don't need the validation, I already am obsessed with my body. I'm sharing to show YOU what you are capable of. I'm sharing because of everything I have GAINED.
✨i gained confidence in all aspects of myself.
✨i gained self love.
✨i gained awareness of the food I put into my body.
✨i gained strength mentally & physically.
✨i gained self-discipline.
✨i gained muscle throughout my entire body.
✨i gained self respect.
I haven't stepped on a scale in MONTHS, and that is a huge success for me. I have learned to focus on the non scale victories, like how my body feels, rather than a number. •

Today as I was mowing this....(fyi this is only half my back yard) it reminded me so much of my fitness journey. This part of the yard has been neglected, run over with weeds and I hate to mow it because it's the 🐕🐕🐕🐕 side 💩. 1.It needs to be mowed.
2. Lawn needs weed and feed
3. Needs water.
Just like fitness
1. You need to give it a new look. (Exercise)
2. Take away the garbage food and give it healthy choices.

All those mornings spent at the football pitch during high school did pay off. Frequently skipping leg days but still no chicken legs :)
I have no sobb story nore do I have a motivational speech. Worked my way up after a few months not deadlifting had slight hip pain and let myself heal before I went over 315. 3 sets had me feeling nice !

LEG DAY. Kept the power Strong and head high up . Keeping my back up was a problem for a while w my squat so really focused on keeping it up and driving to the ceiling . DONT SKIP THEM LEGS !
