Sweaty Monday, comin’ at ya. Fuelled by pure determination. Last night was the first time in AGES my little manny slept longer than 6 hours. It would have been a HUGE bonus for me if not for:
- hearing what I’m sure was either a giant mouse, a creeping child or my overactive imagination (from reading a murder mystery book) in my room at 12.30am.
- actually having a creeping child come in at 3am randomly wanting to sleep with me (I hardly ever sleep with them unless they’re really sick)
- a toddler screaming that it’s time to get up at 3am and that a half full drink bottle is NOT good enough.
- a baby being woken by said toddler.
- being a really light sleeper and hearing everything that happens in my house in the mornings.
But I was lucky enough that the little man had a huge morning sleep so I got to do three circuits of full body which took an hour. Once again ... LOVED IT!

When I see a client for the first time I always prepare them for the times they will go off track. Most of them say: “Why are you telling me that? I'm going to do it. I'm determinei.” It is not that I don't believe they can do it. It is because it is normal to stumble, it is human to make mistakes. We all make mistakes all the time.
When we accept that we make mistakes we take a lighter approach to it. We are not as hard on ourselves and we recover from it quicker.
Engaging on self-pity is unhelpful and will only strength you belief that you can't do it. How do you start your mornings?? I go to the gym and slug it out and pretty much want to vomit the entire session 😂🤣BUT I went and I trained and worked my ass off well I think I did, or tried too 🤣definitely need to scrap the alcohol and get back into eating clean. It's amazing how your body reacts when you don't put the good stuff into your body you definitely feel it while working out. It's a good start to the day and I feel energized and refreshed, Happy Monday 🙌🏻

Training the past few weeks has again taken a back seat. Combine the cold weather and a teething baby along with general life, I haven't been able to get to the gym. The couple opportunities I have had, I've chosen to sleep! It's about making the right choice.
Today I got to have a few hours of me time! 💃🏻
I trained, flipped a tyre about, swung a kettle bell, got cramp in my quads, laughed at myself not being able to walk, realised I need to do more work on my pelvic floor whilst jumping in and out of the tyre, sat in the jacuzzi and let jets blast my back which has been aching from carrying my monkey about, zoned out in the sauna and steam room then headed home feeling all woooooosaaaaaaa.

Privileged and proud to have been part of such a momentous fundraiser, raising $1.4m for the Royal Children’s Hospital! This had to be one of my favourite events and I’m stoked at my result 🏃♂️🙏 running 15.2kms in 1:24:22
Given I was plagued with insomnia the night before the run, it just goes to show how powerful the human mind can be! And despite the sleep deprivation.... with a positive mindset, a shiteload of determination and the proper nutrition for fuel ⛽️🏃♂️I ran my heart out and I’m super happy with both my time and my progression! Bring on our half marathon in July!
The mind is undoubtedly THE most powerful tool your body has! Train your mind! Your body will follow! 🤗

Week 11 of 2018 saw me join #keto
and then end up sick with gall bladder pains 2 days in lol.
It saw me lose 2.4kg by Thursday then gain 1kg of it back by Sunday.
I'm having a hard time getting "back on the wagon" of healthy eating. I feel like I'm waiting for something to click, but I don't know what that something is.
If any of you have advice for me (you'd think I'd know all the answers by now considering how many times I've started this journey again) I'd be open to hear it!

Out the gym/office window I can see over the ramada at just how tall our taipu tree has gotten over the past 8 years. I reflected today that it was planted at the same time as its buddy that never flourished and we ended up taking out. Same soil. Same sun. Same water. Not all plantings are meant to grow and stay through all seasons. Some plantings die off. Some plantings must be actively ripped out to make room for other things.

Je m'en étais arrêter à 85kg et ce soir je me sentais bien pour mettre l barre haute !!
J'ai fait 5 répétitions à ce poids, 1 seule série....
Cette performance me fera peut-être obtenir le niveau legend du Club superphysique !!!! Alors je croise les doigts....
Mais en attendant cette perf me montre que je ne m'entraine pas pour rien, malgré que je n'ai pas de coach à mes côtés, ces derniers mois je vois clairement que je progresse tranquillement mais sûrement ainsi que physiquement, mon corps change, évolue, se renforce... tout ce dont je souhaites....
Après 1 an et demi de muscu, j'arrives enfin à ressentir et donc contracter le muscle que je souhaite travailler sur pas mal d'exercices.... J'ai surtout aussi compris que le ressenti est super important pour évoluer et progresser...

This pregnancy is soo much different to my first! With Josiah I barely trained and I could barely eat anything my WHOLE pregnancy!

I’m normally found chomping on some warm or cold veg - anything deep green. 🥦
I love salad too but never seem to get enough tasty ingredients to make a good one - BUT we had friends over so I’ve got leaves, toms, cucumber, olives, avocado AND I do always have honey, various mustard, balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil - not the most fancy but pretty tasty 😁
