I was having a bit of fun this morning in my kitchen so I made this lil’ video while making this green smoothie with homemade vegan caramel. Smoothie had a frozen banana, half avo, half cucumber (de-seeded), handful spinach, 1 date, 1 tablespoon pure maple and a cup of homemade cashew milk. Blended altogether and topped with 1-2 tablespoons of the caramel. To make the caramel I just blended about 1 cup pitted medjool dates, half cup cashew milk, brown rice syrup, pure vanilla extract, sea salt. It’s so good!! Still thinking of other ways to use them in recipes. Hmmm maybe salted caramel nice cream? 😆😍

🔊1A: I love this variation. The supinated (palms up grip) is one of the best bicep exercises too. It allows you to safely load a lot more weight on your bicep than you can curl.
🧗🏻♀️1B: As you are lifting the band up, think of pushing your shoulders back and down. Then when you pull it apart, think of making your upper back flat.
🧘🏼♀️1C: If there was a wall behind you, you’re lower back should touch it on the dip part. Push you forearm into the ground.
🤾🏻♂️2B: Arms stay parallel the entire time. As you’re pressing the weights up, push your shoulders down.
🏇🏻2C: If you need to modify, lightly put your heels onto the ground. No lower back arching!

I don’t know about you but as I sat reading this it hit me like a ton of bricks...with tears in my eyes I finished the chapter, grabbed the water rings and played with my kids! .
Without this job I might not be able to have all these moments with them and I am definitely not going to miss out on any of it! It might be crazy sometimes but it’s my crazy and I love it! .
