I have been in both positions of not knowing what my personal trainer meant by core tight and not being able to help someone tighten and stabilize their core with just 'core tight'. Once the person your helping understands what you want from them, you can go back to "core tight" "stabilize" ect. When you first start with training someone, try a few things. Say some thing 5 different ways, show them on your own body, paint a picture untill you see it click.

Offically barre certified!!!!!!!!!! Currently feeling:
This was a humbling experience. I have never taken a barre class. This was a last minute don't think just do. I went into this expecting a little sore the next day but this kicked my butt. I was a little shocked that I felt an intense burn 40 seconds into the first of many workouts. This definitely helped me hit diffrent muscle fibers I don't usually burn out.
I picked this up fairly quick the, teaching came easy. I enjoyed learning a new style of exercise. I learned more about my style of teaching which I found very helpful. Overall I had a great non stop barre workout weekend, very excited to where this takes me in my fitness career.
After been off sick for a week it’s time to kick butt starting off with Monday.
Monday is usually a struggle but I have renewed determination and focus 👊🏼

Ready to face the week with renewed strength and determination after been sick for most of last week.
It’s good to understand when to slow down, take a rest to recharge and recover properly.
My training won’t suffer if I take a break, and it’s sometimes hard to slow down when you’re so use to going “hard-out” all the time.
Remember to take time to look after yourself, if you don’t ensure you’re optimal health then training suffers. It’s just as important to schedule Rest time as much as training time. .
