"I've had a number of people over the course of my lifting life ask about how to remove fat from specific areas on the body. This is not a dumb question, there is just lack of knowledge behind it. No one should be made to feel dumb about something they aren't educated in!
You CANNOT remove fat from specific areas while dieting! You cannot lose fat on your stomach from doing sit ups! You cannot not get rid of lunch lady arms from arm training! You will not lose fat off you ass from squatting.
We are all built different and lose fat different. Once the fat loss starts it's 100% out of your control where it comes off. Me for example, i drop almost all my fat off my arms and legs weeks ahead of my torso. Is what it is. I know some people who get shredded off their torso and drop off their limbs last! While some may drop perfectly even everywhere!
Best to accept your genetics and play them to your advantage! I know then when my limbs are stage ready, I still have about 4-5 weeks of cutting to get my torso on the same level!
Don't be the person who gets shredded in their dominant parts, then just says "they didn't come in" or "it's a problem area, maybe next time". That's BS! If you are lean in certain areas and at the same time not lean as lean elsewhere, you gotta keep it going! Only way to get all the fat off!

One thing I’ve noticed more than anything is how much I have improved in the last year alone. Those 20 mile runs used to break me. I remember hobbling home with sore legs, really bad back from having no core strength and EVERYTHING had chafed. 😩
These days 20 miles seems ‘fine’. The last two long runs have felt really strong and no longer am I concerned with ‘will I make it’ but more how fast can I make it round!
I’m not saying that with any arrogance intended but purely think that it’s important to reflect on all the hard work, the times you’re injured and feel useless, the miles of training and muscle strengthening have made such a difference, even if I didn’t see those immediate gains at the time. Keep pushing people.

I always seem to have a pop of colour to cause more attention than I want or need, but I do love this bag! Trained chest and triceps and now I’m off for a chill in the bath but before I go I remembered today that as long as I know I’m doing things right and I’m a good person forget everyone else who isn’t they aren’t going places they are just your standard joes! Be confident in yourself and forget the copycats and idiots who claim to be people they aren’t and do your thing. So remember enough about people to stay on top but don’t let them drag you down, do this and your above so many people already!

This is way harder than it looks. Felt like lightening was going through my core ⚡⚡
2 sessions in one day (boxing AM, weights PM). I. AM. BEAT. 😴
I now get asked what's happening with my hoop lessons and if I've given it up and what not since I don't post any more progress pics.
Well I had to miss last weekend because we were in Birmingham, also the 'beast from the east' depleted my strength and motivation reserves completely, so I've just been cold and lazy and generally whaling about and not being able to 'get back on it' and such like.
So today was my first class back after 2 weeks and it was with a different teacher, so the structure of the class was very different and more focused on the conditioning aspects (ouch!!). Which is kinda what I needed to be honest. I managed to get through 2 sets of elbow hangs (hooray! first time ever) on each side btw!!! And also I tried a single knee hangs and found them surprisingly easy and even though we were doing it in pairs and taking turns to spot each other, I felt I had no fear at all and could easily hold it.
The worst bit from today is that I tried the silks for the first time.... My fingers are still offended lol it was really hard and my hands kept slipping and generally I'm not excited about ever doing them again. But I know it all helps cross training etc, so maybe one day.

After the last week or so my motivation is at an all time high to get my fitness/instagram/diet back on track 😇
I went to Queens the local night for Paddy's day and it was a bit of a wake up call for me when the majority of the people I spoke to gave out to me for pretty much giving up on this fitness and instagram thing 💩
And then today I trained in my local gym and just seeing all those around me getting in better and better shape while I get in worse and worse really made me want to sort everything out 🙅♀️
The next two weeks we've our Easter holidays (even tho I'll be studying 😪) but it will be the perfect time for me to get back into things, while getting my diet sorted and some workouts filmed etc 😇😇
So lets hope this page can do a bit of a U turn and get back to what it used to be ❤️
