All wines produced within the Polperro range hail from vineyards with premium fruit grown on Victoria’s #MorningtonPeninsula
, either personally owned or leased under full management. This ensures a level of control that leads to the highest possible quality.
We manage about 5 vineyards, 3 of which are used to create our single vineyard wines. Our Mornington Peninsula single vineyard range is created from Landaviddy Lane (sub region Shoreham), Talland Hill vineyard (sub region Red Hill) and the infamous Mill Hill (sub region Red Hill) the highest vineyard on the Peninsula.
Sam is involved in all aspects of wine growing and making, focusing on minimal intervention and sustainability. The wines are restrained and elegant with a distinctive minerality. These wines are a true expression of the sites on which they are grown and exemplify Sam’s approach to wine.
Tastings available in the cellar door daily 11am- 5pm.

With Winter fast approaching, now is a great time to ensure your hens and their home are ready for the cold and wet.
In terms of their bedding, make sure you have a deep layer of wood shavings, sawdust or hemp fibre in your coop. This will provide good insulation for the girls and allow absorption and composting of their droppings.
Stay tuned for more top tips over the next couple of nights. #happyhens
