Discovered a glaring weakness today thanks to @turganomon.
Turns out my upper back and rear delts are super weaksauce, and that's part of what's making my log clean so difficult.
I can't maintain a proper position after lapping it.
SO! What we have here is a neutral grip pendlay row mimicking the position of rowing the log into place.
I think it should have some carryover to atlas stones too.
Just hope I have enough time to correct it before August.

Just a little backwards training. For fun
Squats today were half shark (my belt), half wolf (my shorts and shirt), but all raptor. I’m still punchy from traveling so I was ON A ROLL today cracking myself up. Please make intense eye contact with my shorts so you can ignore the weird things I’m doing with my head and neck (working on new bracing/breathing things and this is what happened idk). First clip is 270 and the other two are 250. Last set best set because that’s just how I roll.
Bench w/ press commands and some accessories on deck today. 255 was moving pretty solidly. W1D2 down. Bw was 207 this morning so down 4 lbs from Saturday just by cleaning up my eating. Energy has been decent just need to make sure I up my carbs on deadlifts days but so far @rpstrength

— dare I say it, I actually like benching. Never thought I would like something that I dreaded so much. My weakest lift in terms of strength, slowest in progression. The one that caused me far more back pain than my deadlift ever did, due to improper set up. I still have some learning to do, like not driving with my hips so much, and staying tight. So... small rant here... Went to Target after the gym today to pick up some stuff, forgot extra pants so I had to wear my gym shorts in. I am 100% comfortable with this... its not a big deal. So I am doing my shopping and a woman stops me, just to tell me in a very sh*tty tone of voice "Wow....those are bold shorts, you are pretty brave for wearing them out in public"... I just told her that "it doesnt take bravery to wear clothes you like. Its braver to like your body enough to wear what you want" And I walked off ...this is a problem guys and gals...This is the kind of thing that can spiral into anxiety, eating disorders, and being ashamed of your body. "Compliments" like that one can really affect people ...maybe she meant it in a nice way... maybe she wishes she were "brave" enough to wear shorts... I dont know what she is going through... moral of the story... don't be sh*tty, uplift other people ... Don't tear them down because of your own insecurities. I have worked hard to get to the point of being comfortable in my own skin at any size and if that makes me "Brave" for wearing shorts then so be it! End Rant 🦄 @grrrl_clothing @beefpuffbarbell
