๐Ÿ”ฅI DON'T HAVE WEEKENDS!๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿค” And that means I don't have weekdays. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I also don't dread Mondays. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I don't have hump days on Wednesdays. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ And I don't have to Thank God it's Friday. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ Because every day is has its Monday moments, its Wednesday humps, its Friday fun, and I thank God for every day! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ It wasn't always like this for me though... ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ In fact, recently, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life... ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I QUIT MEDICINE! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ That's right! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ After chasing medicine my whole life, I decided last year to walk away to pursue my passion to help people and change their lives by sharing my knowledge and experience. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I made that scary and impossible decision with ONE thing in mind: I have one life to live, and when I look back on it, I want to be able to say I lived it on MY terms! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I'm starting almost from scratch again, but I live each day with a sense of purpose that I've never had before. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I wake up at 5 am excited to tackle my goals, and I lay there at night sometimes unable to fall asleep because my mind is always buzzing with ideas that I know will have a huge impact on people's lives. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ If I can do it, after 32 years and over a million dollars invested in education, so can you. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ It will be scary at times. It will be difficult at times. It will be lonely at times. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ But it will ABSOLUTELY be worth it! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ Live each day with purpose and effervescence! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ When you are on your deathbed, you will be able to look back on your life and say, "I did it on my terms!" ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I want to be able to say "I helped everyone I could in some way, and I did it on my terms!" ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡ What do YOU want to be able to look back and say about your life? Maybe this is too intense to be trueโ‰๏ธNOT A CHANCE! : The unbelievable self deprecating and self loathing comments I hear coming out of peopleโ€™s mouths is mind blowing. : โ€œI am a fat ***.... โ€œI am so stupidโ€....โ€I am unlovableโ€...The list goes on and on. : Statements of inadequacy and lack of worthiness have infiltrated your life. The enemy has clearly infected a lot of brains and snuck through the back door. : Since when is it okay to treat yourself so poorly? We treat animals better than we treat ourselves. : Do you think Iโ€™m overreacting? : Tell me then, what 44,965 lives have in common with these statements. Suicide in America costs us on average 123 lives per day. : And thatโ€™s 2016 data...it hasnโ€™t gotten better. : What we tell ourselves becomes the reality we live in. : If you donโ€™t take this seriously, who will? : Havenโ€™t thought of suicide? How does someone get to that point? Maybe youโ€™re slowly killing yourself with the way you speak to yourself. : Commit to Change Now. : The Fitness Industry should be leading the pack on this issue. We should be promoting fit in Mind and Body. ๐Ÿ™๐ŸฝHOW I OVERCAME SEVERE ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I overcame severe clinical depression and anxiety. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I was at the lowest point of my life 6 years ago. I wanted it all to end. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ I am by no means a religious person, and I am not here to convince you that God exists or anything like that. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ The wisdom embedded in the prayer above helped me to let go of the things that were making me unhappy in my life. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ It helped me to focus ONLY the things I had direct control over. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ We must have the clarity to analyze the circumstances surrounding a situation; particularly the variables over which we have control and those over which we do not. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ By focusing on what is within our grasp to change, we empower ourselves and position ourselves for success ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ Focus is not enough, however. We must act daily and consistently until change is achieved and maintained. ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ If I can come back from rock bottom, weighing 257 pounds, get through medical school and then quit medicine to pursue my passion and start completely from scratch and find my happiness, so can you! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ A journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. Just after having the nicest dinner in a good while ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ Mackerel, air fryer chips and salad ๐Ÿฅ— If I could, Iโ€™d eat salad and these chips every day! Iโ€™ve always loved eating most types of fish and having previously worked in the quality department of a fish company, Iโ€™ve even more appreciation for good quality, fresh fish ๐ŸŸ Normally salmon is my go-to for oily fish but I really need to have mackerel more, forgot how good it tastes ๐Ÿ˜‹ The perfect dinner to be enjoying al fresco!

Final day at @whodaresslims was nothing short of incredible. Despite waking up absolutely knackered and feeling muscles ache which I didnโ€™t even knew existed, the trainers pushed us through a morning of back-to-back fat burning workouts and team challenges. โœจ The exercise was rounded off with Jamieโ€™s tunnel of love (which should be re-named tunnel of hell because you literally have to drag yourself through). But the feeling when youโ€™re told youโ€™ve finished is indescribable: You canโ€™t quite believe what youโ€™ve managed to achieve. And then itโ€™s weigh-out time. โœจ Iโ€™m genuinely stunned with my results: I lost 6.4 pounds, 4.5cm from around my waist and 7.5cm from around my hips. Thatโ€™s a huge amount for whatโ€™s essentially three and a half days. โœจ Whatโ€™s more my skin has never been clearer, I feel more focused and full of energy than ever before, and Iโ€™m excited for the future, knowing Iโ€™m on the right path. โœจ I have long way to go until Iโ€™m back down to the shape and size Iโ€™m comfortable at, but this has been a massive step in the right direction. โœจ Iโ€™m so grateful to the whole team: @jamiegoodpt , @nicolealcantara88 , @mikeeyparker , @beckieada and importantly to all of the fabulous women on the bootcamp with me who were so supportive and made it so enjoyable!
