Today was probably one of the harder runs. I didn’t even do a Couch To 5k Run either! I knew I wasn’t up for a long run so I did my own program of 3mins Run, 1min walk, 6 times. Sun was already out and burning through the cloud and there was little breeze so it was hot, and because I wasn’t being consistent in my pace with the starting and stopping I was struggling a bit halfway through. Maybe I should have done a long run 😣😣😣 I ended up one round short but did an incline walk instead at the end, so it’s done. I need a rest though. I have done 6 days of exercise this past week including the huge amount of walking yesterday and I think I’m just physically tired!
I’m not sure there is words to explain how much these ladies mean to me 💕

Today’s contestants for the first structured weights and cardio HIIT for a while! 10 exercises, 3 times, 40 seconds on, 20 seconds off, then followed by a few abs exercises. I enjoyed that! Time goes quicker with hiit! Next time I’m going to ramp it up to 50 on, 20 off. 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 Today’s hiit included - dumbbell squats, push ups, bar weighted deadlift, bicep curls, lunge pulses, slow mo burpees, bar weighted clean n press, weighted tricep crunches, and dumbbell chest presses.
& to think I watched my coach & told her no for months 🙈 joining this team has changed my life in so many ways - I can’t even begin to explain how happy my heart is right now 💖

I was tired but I felt determined to get a longer run done today. Went back to Week 5 Run 3 which was the first 20 min run that I did a couple of weeks ago. Today the first 5mins felt hard, but mins 10-20 I was just mind over matter about it and had a good rhythm. The last 5mins again, hard! Kept my pace and breathing steady throughout which was good. Next run will be 25mins!
