A rather large portion of my haul from the weekend. Not everything, mind you! I wish I could describe everything but here's a quick summary.
First photo: fabrics from op shops around the North Island including a black viscose and some sort of linen/silk blend. A selection of scarves and a handbag from Taupo. Skirts and tops from Hastings, Taupo, and Matamata.
Second photo: A close-up of the scarves. These are gorgeous!
Third photo: Vintage patterns. The two green Academy patterns and the cheongsam are from @estelleofbrighton.
The rest are from op shops.
Fourth photo: Buttons, a sewing box, and earrings. The earrings are from The Op Shop in Taupo where I got all the scarves. There is also a bag of Marcel wave clips, and a sweet cardigan clip from Two Lippy Ladies.
Fifth photo: This scarf is incredible. And $5.

Went shopping in Country Threads, Bath, UK and bought these. The peacock coloured fabric attracted me at once - and interestingly the other shopper in the store at the time. Went to get the salesperson and while my back was turned, the other shopper had taken this bolt, to also get a cut from, out of the 500 other bolts in the shop. What a coincidence!

Lige et kig til min nye jakke. Jeg har taget en masse billeder med kameraet, men ledningen er væk så der går lige lidt tid før resten kommer på IG 🙈🙈
Jeg synes jakken er blevet rigtig vellykket.

This definitely needs some ironing, it just came out of the wash, but it’s too pretty to wait to share. Four yards of a beautiful lightweight cotton fabric with a fantastic border print. It has a fun Parisian feel to it. Mauve isn’t normally a colour I wear but it’s so hard to find fabric like this I couldn’t pass it up. #vintagefabric #borderprintfabric #thriftstorefinds #fabricstash
Got my fabrics sorted and put on my comic book boards. Sorted by color and material. My flannels, fleece, canvas, and misc fabrics are separate from the regular cottons. I have a small bin for my extra blocks from past projects and my scrap triangles from snowballing. And the big bin on top has all my regular scraps and pieces that couldn't go on the boards. #myhappyplace #fabricstash
This one just arrived and she is delicately beautiful. We"ll call her interesting because she is, as she keeps you wondering.
The base is tulle, with champagne thread interwoven on it. It also includes stones and a few beads. White petal barely 3D made into a beautiful flower as seen in the picture. To cut a long story short, she is positively interesting. #asoebibella
We’re gushing over these Japanese notions from Cohana- this pincushion is made out of Hinoki Cypress from the Kii Mountains. It’s so pretty, and includes a loop to string through so you can wear it around your neck for ease of use. The Shozaburo thread snips are wrapped in Iga silk braids, and couldn’t be a better example of great Japanese craftsmanship!
My keepers :) got all my yardage and FQ on the comic book boards.... 99 out of 100. Haha so I have 1 board left for more fabric 😉😉. Got them organized in my cabinet now by color...wow! I have a lot of blacks, blues, and pinks. And more yellows & purples than I thought I did. Good way to know what I need for my stash :) #fabricstash
