Hatta, Dubai, UAE🇦🇪

Amazing little adventure to Hatta the other day, looking around the town before doing a bit of kayaking on the Hatta Dam🛶 Along the two hour drive from the city of Dubai to Hatta you really get to experience everything that the emirate of Dubai has to offer. From the beach and city, to the long roads through the desert before coming across the large mountain ranges, it really is a special place🙌 However you also get to see how a lot of people live outside the glam of the city. Whilst driving to Hatta we drove through many small towns and villages out in the desert where the locals just live a basic and simple lifestyle, selling goods from their roadside shops🏺It is important to remember that in any city, emirate or region of the world, not all of the population are living the standard of life that the area likes to project or pretend they are🏙 Whilst it may be for a variety of reasons, it is always important to be aware and knowledgeable of those who are not part of the big (in this case glamorous) city experience. Why not stop along the way to appreciate what they have to offer and take an interest in the other side of life in the region in order to get a fuller and more wholesome experience of the place🙌 Overall it was an unforgettable day, with the kayaking on the Dam having to be the highlight simply for it’s quiet, peaceful atmosphere with extremely breathtaking views⛰ #hatta#hattadam#hattakayak
