An abstract piece to start the new week with ~ beautiful Porthcurno beach in Cornwall✨
Talking of beaches, join me next week when I will be exploring some wonderful coastline around Jersey in the Channel Islands and showcasing one of the islands loveliest hotels @biarritzhotel
which overlooks the picturesque St Brelades Bay✨
There’s going to hopefully be some early alarm calls to photograph the sunrise☀️
Have a great week 😀
We found this peaceful spot in the grounds of Dunster Castle 🏰
Evening light at Delapre Lake 🌅
After the storm comes the rainbow 🌈
The Queens Well, Glen Esk...trust me, even with a empty water bottle this is a Royal water stop you would want to dodge for a drink!
A nice discovery at St Audries Bay, Somerset!
Evening stroll around St Audries Bay 🌅
St Audries bay at sundown 🌞
Early morning pre-breakfast walk on the deserted pebble beach at Taunton
Windsor Castle, the setting of the Royal Wedding today of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle🤵👰
Built after the Norman invasion of England by William the Conqueror in the 11th century.
Built by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild in 1874 to entertain the fashionable world and to house his collection of fine art, Waddesdon Manor is a stunning building set in the Chilterns Hills with views of Oxfordshire and the Vale of Aylesbury✨
When I visited some time ago it was further enhanced with a beautiful collection of Porsche sports cars 🚙🚗
So looking forward to the next three months, my eldest son is getting married, my daughter turns 21 and myself and my wife celebrate 30 years of marriage 🎉
I’ve also been asked to work with three lovely hotels, and have trips to Jersey in the Channel Islands, Majorca and Cornwall planned, so I hope to be capturing some picturesque photos and sharing them here, like this one from St Ives in Cornwall.✨
It’s an overcast day in the Chilterns today, so here’s a picture from a beautiful morning that I spent in Brighton 😎
The Moat Wonderful time of the Year 🌼🌻🍃 (Spring, of course 😉)
Scotney Castle, Kent, UK
I actually think Autumn might be my favourite season but shhh, we don't want spring getting jealous do we- it's a very close second anyway, maybe even a tie (come back sunshine I didn't mean it 😂)
The view here is of the South Tower, part of the beautiful 14th century old castle on the estate gardens, taken from the walk around the moat. (Spot the goose if you can, I was clearly being watched 👀).
The site has dates of occupancy going back as far as 1137, but the castle itself was built in 1378 in response to french raiding. This tower was the only part of the castle to stand the test of time and was the basis for a renovation in the 16th century by the Darrell Family who purchased the site and built a manor house incorporating it. (Oh to live in that eh!!)
Sadly like all beautiful things, that too fell into disrepair (🙈) and in 1778 the Hussey Family who took ownership of the estate had a new manor house built further up the hill on the estate, leaving this one to nature 🍃🍃

I love a spring sunrise! 🌞
Bluebells at Badby Woods. We’re so lucky to be just a half hour drive away!
A beautiful end to the day at Dunstable Downs yesterday evening. There were lots of people still sitting on the Downs, having picnics, flying kites and watching this lovely sunset✨
This image was three bracketed images merged together in Lightroom to achieve the balanced light across the scene and then just a little clean up in Photoshop.
I stopped to capture this on the way to Badby Woods
