I've been waiting three damn years for this album, and it's safe to say that Tinashe delivered. I love the instrumentals, which range from dancehall-inspired to dark R&B, as well as Tinashe's vocals, which are good as ever. Also, this album doesn't overstay its welcome at all, which is a major plus in this day & age of long albums. I can't really say much else: Joyride is just a really good R&B record that I highly recommend to everyone.
Lately I've been hard to reach, I've been too long on my own
Everybody has a private world where they can be alone
Are you calling me? Are you trying to get through?
Are you reaching out for me, like I'm reaching out for you?
