We will go to ramen school, visit a noodle factory, eat at historic and modern ramen shops, explore one of the only street food scenes in Japan, and investigate every culinary backstreet we can find! Tucked in a humble space at Serene Centre, we enjoyed our dinner by the counter at @fatbellysg
The 3 savoury courses in our set dinner were thoughtfully planned and skilfully executed.
Salad was Duck fennel with mango balsamic reduction, a good balance of flavour and acidity. The Pearl barley risotto was a satisfying dish, offering nice taste and bite without the usual Carb. The truffled mushrooms were generous in serving and enhanced the risotto fabulously.
Our favourite course was the Wagyu Tri-tip, with a 9+ marble score, sous vide before charcoal grilled to showcase its delicious fattiness.

, our meal was also complemented with its ice cream and dessert that concluded the experience with smiles of satisfaction.
We're opting for something fresh today! Pictured is our Avocado & Grilled pepper open sandwich with soft goat’s cheese, batavia lettuce, olives on toasted sourdough and paired with fries. Want to jazz it up? Swap out the fries for a mixed salad or house-cooked crisps.😋

GGs with some lox🙌🏼 Feeling productive on this Tuesday Morning!!! Completed my 6am workout, grabbed myself a charcoal latte, discovered cute shops around me, went food shopping, and grabbed my boyfriend a yummy lunch! Did all of this by 8:30 and already got down 2 liters of water. Minced shrimp and chicken combine to make this well-portioned appetizer. Steamed to perfection, the wonton wrap is thin, delicate, and light on the stomach. These should be eaten fresh, as reheating the leftovers may result in a gummy, oily texture. Looking forward to my next visit! ~ Brittney

My attempt at the Rainbow Salad that I found on @howsweeteats
feed. 😍 No filter needed, just so beautiful and SO YUMMY! Fruit in salad could be the way forward. I want to smother the spicy coriander dressing on everything. Only two things were missing, the crispy onions (I thought I have some but the packet was empty!!!! Who keeps an empty packet?!?!) and the white wine (I am on the way to work as I write this 🤷♀️).
