Good things come to those who work!! Waiting to see how I felt after work, determined if I went to the gym or not in the past. Bad day?! I’d either choose to sweat 💦 out my frustration or let my emotions win and just go home and veg out for the evening.
Kinda just winging it, or waiting to see what happens. That’s when things fall apart. No rhyme, no reason, no plan.
Starting my day with a super convenient at home workout doesn’t even give me a chance to think about doing it or not. It’s engraved into my lifestyle that I HAVE to start my day this way or my emotions WILL get the best of me.
Feel free to give this efficient workout a try to start your day tomorrow, or even to set the tone for your evening after work today!
Do each move 10x, 15 second break, 8x, 15 second break, 6x. Then repeat full circuit 🔂 after each move has been done ✅. There’s always a choice, and the outcome is on ourselves!!

29 weeks pregnant 🤰🏼 I’ve been craving nachos this week 😋💙
At last that moment we've all been waiting for - summer! When you're pregnant you feel the heat so much more than usual but I don't really need to tell you that do I?
I remember very well how I felt this time 12 years ago. I was expecting my first my first baby (he's a September born). I had swollen feet and got about with a slow, steady waddle avoiding the direct sun. Up until that point I had been an avid sun worshiper. 2006 was one of the hottest summer on record.
With this in mind I've put together a few of my favourite tips to help you stay cool over the next few weeks.
7 top tips to stay cool this summer:
Drink plenty of fluids. You can dehydrate easily when you're pregnant, which can make you feel faint, tired and dizzy. To help avoid this, carry a bottle of water and take regular sips throughout the day.
Find a shady spot when sitting outside, its best to stay out of the direct sunlight. This is especially important when the sun's at its highest, which is between 11am and 3pm for UK summers.
To help to combat water retention minimise your salt intake, this will make you feel more comfortable.
Remember it can take you longer than normal for your body to adjust to any temperature changes. When using air conditioning and fans reduce the heat gradually if possible, and give yourself time to adapt when moving from one environment to another.
For an instant cool down, put your wrists under a running cold tap or pour a little water from your bottle on to your face or the back of your neck. It really does work and it feels lovely!
Pace yourself. Put your feet up whenever you can. You're growing a baby, your body is busy so give yourself plenty of rest where possible.
And saving the best till last.....fill a washing up bowl (or similar) with lukewarm water take your shoes off your feet and pop them in it....instant relief from a busy hot day, heavenly!
Give those top tips a go and let us know which one is your favourite or feel free to share yours with us
The best moments spent together are the ones when our kids need us the most and we make ourselves available.
Less than 100 days til we meet this little lady and I’m not freaking out at all 🙃💗💕💘💓💝
Birth is 10% what happens and 90 % how you feel about it. How you feel will depend on what you are thinking and how you respond.
Over a decade of working with Women as they move through pregnancy birth and motherhood has taught me this. And I’ve put it all in my new signature Birth Preparation Programme- The Birth Anxiety Breakthrough Formula. Enrolment is open at £195 for a limited time until end of June.
I’ll teach you everything you need for a positive birth and a positive start to motherhood, including all the stuff I save for my private 1-2-1 clients.
You can find out more by taking the quiz and watching the follow up video series (link is in my profile) or Join us and start straight away by clicking this link : www.positivelyblooming.com/yes
Together we’ll have you feeling calm confident and relaxed for the remainder of your pregnancy and into motherhood 🤰🤱 See you in the programme!

Woke up at 3am not feeling well...puked at 4:30am and couldn’t fall back asleep until around 6. This little lady stayed by my side the whole time. Animals are just amazing. Wednesday brings me so much comfort and love. I wouldn’t trade her for anything! #catmom #6monthspregnant #dueinseptember #catsofinstagram
Looking forward to hanging out here @do.it.like.a.mother_hq
with 5 new couples tomorrow. (If you’ve been keeping up with my stories today you’ll know a day of teaching empowering birth prep will be an ABSOLUTE TREAT and something of a slow down compared to last 2 days). .
Here’s what I find interesting- I’ve said this stuff on this course SO MANY TIMES. I never use a script or notes, it’s all ingrained on my brain. But I hear it fresh each time it comes outta my mouth, because I see how it’s received by the people in front of me. And that’s different every time. Sometimes it’s all SO easily accepted. Other times we unpack certain stuff more. Every new group is a chance for me to learn too- every question shows me another perspective. I’m super grateful for my experience in sharing this important info, because that’s what’s made what we do so unique- the layered in realisations and the lived realities that shape the content. My favourite ever compliment about the course was that it’s “very human”. .
If you’re ready to be a part of it, the following group runs Thursday evenings in July, 19.15-21.45 and includes a whole host of food stuff. Link in bio. .

So in awe of what a miracle this little life is 💗 Baby is girl is measuring just about a week and a half ahead of schedule (shocker 🙃) but if that means we get to meet her a week and a half early who cares 😍
These hands are just the sweetest 😍
