Throw back to our visit to @dubaiparksresorts
in Feb 2018 its the place to visit when in Dubai with kids.
I think i even enjoyed my time more than my kids did, the place is just amazing we spent just one day there and it wasn't enough so diffentely we will go back there and spend not less than 3 days.
My 7 and 4 year old boys had a blast the games and rides are just so much fun that they wanted to get on each ride more than once, my daughter was about 6 months old and i was so pleased with the services they had for moms and babies.

Dubai you were so hot and humid but we had a blast and the kids absolutely loved our time there (I think they would have been happy to stay longer!). We arrived in London yesterday and stayed the night at an airport hotel and are off to Verona, Italy today for a week!
Last trip to Dubai 🏙
With the long weekend, we decided to make one last visit to Dubai. Since it’s way too hot outdoors, we decided to enjoy a new fun children’s attraction in air-conditioned comfort.
We headed to Orbi at Mirdif City Centre, which is an amazing collaboration between BBC Earth and Sega with interactive displays of the Earth’s Nature and Animals. We experienced the freezing cold of the Mount Kenyan mountains with simulated cold and winds, were surrounded by Mountain Gorillas and said hello to Elephants in the Serengeti. The videos in the theatres were so immersive, some were 4D experiences with mist, moving platforms and spraying jets.
On top of it all, it was educational and each of us learned something new about our spectacular world 🌎 It was a welcomed change from yet another hour at the arcade or playgym, and I was thoroughly impressed and a little nostalgic as well, since it reminded me of end-of-year excursions to the Science Centre in Singapore where we got to watch a show in the IMAX theatre. I’m not sure if TT or I had more fun 😆 Would definitely recommend this for kids TT’s age and older 👫
I really hope we find great new places in Singapore to discover together! Talia’s in a different age group as when we left, so it’ll be interesting to explore children’s venues and activities for her when we return. Anyone with suggestions, please share them with us 😊

For the first half of our stay in Dubai, we stayed downtown. For the second half we stayed closer to the palm, Jumeirah area. There we had a nice, up close view of the #burjalarab
Do you ever stay at different places within the same city?
We went to Oman in the middle of our trip so we would've had to check in and out of a place anyway. Packing up your stuff and moving it again isn't always fun but i Iike staying at different places. It's neat to check out another hotel and stay in a different part of a city. Plus it was nice to break up our sightseeing and not have to trek all the way across the city half the time. We did things closer to downtown first half, and other things closer to the beach the second half. And the two were actually very different experiences. More about Dubai on the blog later...
We lived in 2 hotels at our stay and one of them was the Arabian Park hotel, wich is really clean and comfortable. There is not a children's pool, but the beginning of the pool there's really shallow water, so that my son, wich was 3 years old at this journey, really enjoyed to play in the water. But we always put his life jacket on ☀️🌊
The desert Safari was a wonderful experience for the whole family. We choose to do the evening Safari to enjoy the sunset in desert. My husband drived a quad and my son Joona really enjoyed to see his daddy driving through the sand dunes. After that we had a ride with a jeep through the dunes to the desert camp, where we got the chance to let him sit on a camel and get food and drinks. There we've seen a fire show, enjoy music, get a henna tattoo and see the beautiful stars in desert ❤️ this was a perfect day at our travel and our sun loves to remember this.

When you want to travel to Dubai, it's better not to fly in the summer months. We were in Dubai in August and it was really to hot for staying at the beach. My first stay in Dubai was in die end of September and it was also really warm, l but not as hot as in August. If you want to go there, I can really recommend to travel from october-may.

we are a German family and we love traveling a lot.
On our journeys with 2 children, we're saving a lot of experiences. We want to share them with other family's to make it easier for them to choose the perfekt travel destination for wonderful holidays with their children.

is so freaking cool. MUST DO in Dubai: have dinner at a restaurant with a view of the Burj to enjoy the fountain show, and if you’re lucky, a light show. Best free entertainment that you and the kids will LOVE. This awesome view was from the Siraj restaurant at #soukalbahar

🌏 Dubai 🗺
Vielen Dank @naomi
