The creation of a new cocktail is not as easy as many people think. Ideas, ingredients, the way you plan to use them and obviously, the many failed attempts before you finally find the balance you were looking for. As important as these elements, is inspiration. Many people start a cocktail from scratch, others twist a classic and I like to start mine from food. Most of the times. 🍕
This is probably one of the weirdest cocktail I have ever made – well it was 4 years ago, now weird is the requirement for each recipe!

To release the flavour, slowly steam cook the salmon inside the whiskey until it turns pale pink - similar to Blazer, but no fire! When it reaches the desired flavour, filter the liquid and chill. .
