time! I’ve been practicing digital painting over the weekend. Hopefully will have some paintings soon, but I digress. Here is a bit of poet Bowser as I’m getting close to the end of Super Mario RPG for the SNES.

This picture features my mum @ulybkavkarmane
, who is a real living Princess of Cozy Wool. She supplies us with wonderful cozy and warm sweaters, scarfs and hats, which apart of keeping us warm in cold winter also give us super power of going through hard times with grace. This super power is so called mum's love if you wonder ♥️👸
Somewhat lost now that my Insect project is over.
This time I was strategic though and enrolled in a class that I'm starting today. I have treated myself to Lilla Rogers' MATS A, and I'm really excited about it.
//i've been having trouble scanning some of my marker art lately, because some of the pics have a semi fluorescent tone to them (like the girl's body here should), and theose colours turn out really dull when I scan them, although all the others are pretty accurate. I manage to somewhat fix that by playing around with the saturation a bit, but it's still not perfect. Any tips welcome. :)
The little colourful marker pics are back though.

The journey towards mastering composition begins! Not sure if anyone will find this interesting, but this is a slightly altered scene from my run in the rain last night. This is the underpainting in watercolor. Working on very rough paper for course shapes, mood and not getting too detailed (except where I want to draw the viewer’s eyes). I already feel such a massive shift in understanding. I cannot recommend Ian Roberts’ “Mastering Composition” any more highly than I already have. The switch away from subject-based work to using the whole picture plane is so exciting. It is a new way of telling stories. Every moment is a slow development of a whole scene. My favorite advice from Roberts: SLOW DOWN and HAVE FUN. ❤️#underpainting #masteringcompositionbook #ianroberts #hiltonheadisland #islandlife #beachrun #lowcountry #drawanyway #draweveryday
Принцесса Уютной Пряжи в виде куклы-бабульки с дичайшими волосами и милашной овечкой.
When you were a kid, did you ever do that thing where you swallow a spaghetti noodle, while holding on to one end, then pull the whole thing out of your throat? No? Yes? This drawing makes me think of that feeling. 🙄🙄
My latest portrait: Nikola Tesla. One of the most interesting historical figures of all-time. In my humble opinion anyway. :)
Not sure if I added too many lines or not enough...opinions?
More crunchy, gooey details added to this piece.
Morning coffee and coloring demon seed, that's the way to start your day.
Digital cyber demon. Or whatever.
Did a sketch of one of my favorite legends: the Penanggalan, a disembodied head with trailing organs that feeds on newborns.
