“I was at a college party some years back and I had started talking to this fraternity guy. As we got to talking, he asked, “Do you find it harder finding guys to date you because of your complexion and because you’re fuller figured?” The question literally didn’t make sense to me. I never saw myself as less worthy of anyone’s love.
I often would think back to that when I wouldn’t get asked to dance or when my text would be left on read. Luckily, I have grown to love those same features he made me question. I found a partner that loves every inch of me without question.”

Tech is not a young person’s game.
I often get this question …
Am I too old to get into tech?
The answer is absolutely not.
If you’re 40+ years old, you have one of the most valuable advantages in tech: Life Experience.
You’ve seen things. You’ve experienced things. You have developed emotional intelligence. You might’ve raised kids. You have a larger network. You’ve survived. You’re obviously gritty, because you’re learning something new and thinking about changing careers. The list goes on …
All of these things are distinct advantages over 18–39 year olds.
I know that ageism exists and can be a brutal challenge for older folks. However there are companies who believe in older talent (Treehouse!) and if you identify those companies, you can have an amazing career in tech — even if you’re 40+.

Battambang has lots of amazing things2explore! This was the view from the top of Sampeou Mountain. Besides the view the mountain is also of cultural, historic and natural significance. It is home to a temple, devastating Khmer Rouge killing caves and at the bottom you can enjoy the amazing sight of thousands of bats leaving a cave at sunset. ------------------------------------------------

Royalty enters Summoners Fate! 👑
We're so excited to reveal our newest and most royal members of Summoners Fate, Emperor Cosme & Empress Camille.
We took great care in creating the look for these two important characters. As the name "Summoners Fate" implies, themes of fate vs. free will is found throughout, especially the single-player campaign. We are still writing the story, but read the origins of Emperor Cosme in our first game, Hero Mages, here: http://heromages.com/gameInfo/backgroundStory.html.
There are many nods to these themes in their looks. For example, both of their pendants are important. Emperor Cosme's incorporates a pair of scissors, a nod to the the Fates of Greek mythology, especially Atropos, who cuts the Thread of Life. Similarly, with Empress Camille, surrounding the orange gem in the middle is the Rota Fortunae, or Wheel of Fortune, that is found throughout history, and signifies the fickle nature of fate.
Can you find other symbolism in these characters? Do you think they have good or malicious intentions in Summoners Fate?
