Foggy winterworld in the Black Forest
The only beach we could find in Iceland that wasn’t black.

Everyone who's been to Java island, will have heard of Mount Bromo. I had already hiked several volcanoes whilst in Indonesia and decided this time to get a sunrise panoramic view of Bromo (instead of hiking to its ridge in the dark).
We waited patiently and weren't disappointed by the above vista.
After sunrise we jumped in a jeep and drove through the aptly named "sea of sand" surrounding the volcanoes before hiking to the rim of the caldera of Mt Bromo (fuming to the left of the photo). Covered in a green tint and smelling of sulphur, we probably stayed at the top for far longer than we should have...but what a morning 🌋
При взгляде на эти фигуры фантазия создает всевозможные ассоциации=)) Я увидел ворота посреди которых стояли стражи, охраняющие долину сопок:)))

Can you spot the hiker at the bottom of the picture?
Почти неделя плохой погоды и постоянных снегопадов, и только перед самым отъездом, нам посчастливилось поймать рассвет в национальном парке Riisitunturi. Это было незабываемо!) Winter is coming! ✨
Almost a week of bad weather and snowfalls, and shortly before we left Finland, we were lucky to catch the dawn in the Riisitunturi national park. It was unforgettable!)
This is love: to fly toward a secret sky, to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment. First to let go of life. Finally, to take a step without feet. – Rumi
