THE KETTLE BLACK, SOUTH MELBOURNE.
Only a stones throw from the city, this Melbourne stalwart delivers on all aspects of daylight dining. The interior is minimalistic with pops of colour throughout. The staff were efficient yet warm and welcoming.
The food servings were generous and delicious with an extensive range to cater to everyone. The ricotta hot cake with fresh berries is a must try.
The coffee (from @squareonecoffeeroasters
) is stunning. With rotating blends from all over the world, the coffee hits the spot. They also have speciality coffee offerings such as an iced filter, batch brew and pour overs.
Overall, this cafe ticks all the boxes and doesn’t disappoint. It does get busy though, so get in early or be prepared to wait for a table!
If catching public transport you can catch the the 3, 5, 64 or 72 and get off adjacent Albert Road.
