When people comment on my insta page to me in real life, guaranteed the first thing they’ll mention is my food pictures. First off that’s funny because I don’t post that many really and secondly I’ve often read insta ‘advice’ stating that you should leave food pictures to the professional photographers.
Never one to conform I’ll continue posting pictures of my food simply because I enjoy it 💗
So here is a quadrupole whammy of everything I ate today.
I don’t count macros or calories but I try to eat reasonable portion sizes making sure I have protein, carbs, healthy fats and lots of micro nutrients with every meal.
I’m not a huge snacker, I’ll graze on things like salted popcorn, rice cakes or fruit (last pic)
Meal 1: Scrambled egg on rye sourdough with avocado, tomato and spinach.
Meal 2: Pizza legerro from @pizzaexpress
Super thin base, centre cut away and filled with salad, topped with chicken, roast peppers and garlic oil - no cheese. Menu informs me under 600kcals.
Meal 3: Sweet potato with cottage cheese, hummus, mixed salad and spicy beef.
This is a pretty typical day of food although if I’m out for lunch you’re more likely to find me in a cafe but today was a treat.
Drink wise I am partial to a Diet Coke but I’ll try to stick to plain or sparkling water. Also I have one regular coffee first thing in the morning and usually one or two decaf ones or a tea in the afternoon or evening.
