Consistency > Perfection
Can you honestly be 💯% perfect ALL the time? I have never met anyone with that kind of willpower. You’re going to have times where you mess up, where you overeat, skip a workout, don’t track perfectly. That’s okay! 👍🏼
You don’t have to be perfect to see results, you need to be consistent. If you overeat one day, get back on track the next. One bad meal or one skipped workout won’t hurt your progress. But if you let that and meal lead to many “bad” meals or continuously overeating or skipping workouts, that will.
This past week I’ve been working on getting my water in consistently. And I did 6/7 days this week. That’s consistency not perfection. This week I am going to work on getting more sleep 😴

Working 5 twelve hour shifts in a row is not an easy task, especially while following a workout program and attempting to eat healthy. To top it off I got back from vacation at 1030pm the night before I went back to work! I'm not trying to complain here, I'm trying to share that it's really hard sometimes! I have no food, I have no energy to go to the grocery store, so after eating tuna for the 3rd day in a row I dug through the cupboards and found popcorn! So here I am, sitting on the couch in my hakuna matata shirt, eating popcorn, a little disappointed in myself because I missed a workout this past week! But tomorrow is Monday! Oh and I have this new found love for Mondays!
📈I mean seriously what the heck are you doing? Whenever you read or learn something new you must go and apply it to your life.
You must go and take action before the knowledge is lost. You would be surprised how many people don’t do this.
It helps to take notes on what you learn. And write down in what area of your life needs this. So then when you go to do that action, you can use the new knowledge you have gained.
we focus on practical ways you can implement new ideas into your life. Because isn’t that the point? To be able to take what you have learned and use it to make your life better.
Which is always the goal... So keep grinding and keep learning.
