With the world ever changing, people are constantly wanting to be more involved and independent with their lives. The room to simplify commercial equipment and technology, and then be able to give that ability to users is endless.
We at Dead Rabbit Presses, have designed a very simple and effective unit utilizing a method of extracting essential oils from plants and made a unit affordable and compact enough to be used safely on a kitchen table or counter.
The science behind fracturing plant material is as old as time itself. The molecules of plant material are all variably different. They have different consistencies, melting points, boiling points, and weights. By introducing the correct amount of heat and pressure, users are able to lower the melting point of certain molecules, and by doing so, pressing them out and separating them.
Why is this important today? Essential oils are used massively in our world everyday. From foods, health products, recreational activities, treatments, everything!
Making these presses affordable and available to everyone is a very important goal of Dead Rabbit Presses. A few of our staff are medicinal marijuana patients, and they use the presses regularly to seperate THC and CBD from the plant material supplied for their prescription. Its the only form of extraction recognised by the Canadian Government as the only safe form. It doesnt require any hydrocarbons or high pressure gases to extract the essential oils desired. All you need is your medication, and a press, and your able to remove all the unwanted plant molecules: plant fat, chlorophyll, etc.
Being able to remove all the unwanted plant material, leaves you with a very highly concentrated extract, which requires no dangerous gases or hydrocarbons to achieve. It allows medication to be dosed more accurately and allows the user the ability to do all of this from the comfort of their own home.
Whether it is: cannabis, lavender, chamomile, or anything grown in the garden, the science remains the same. You can create your own cooking ingredients, essential oils for oil/air diffusers, or concentrates for beverages! The uses are limited only by your creativity!!
