Before we got to Penang we read a blog that said Georgetown was a "pedestrian friendly" city... The buildings go straight out to road or patios littered with boxes and bustle. Then the street stalls fly past attached to various vehicles and park up either side creating a narrow passage for foot/ car/ buggy et all. They then stand by walls painted with graffiti, camouflaged until they beckon you over suddenly. The obstacle course continues street after temple after alleyway. And no we haven't been flattened yet but it's a miracle. Georgetown is a jungle, pedestrian friendly my arse.
Not quite the shire, but I'll take it 🍃🍇
A big thank you to @collectiveretreats
for the relaxing evening, insane view, and comfortable tents that are nicer (and certainly bigger) than my first apartment was in the city. It was a pleasure teaching yoga in such a nice getaway. Hope to visit again soon!
Take me where the good things happen
Bathroom inspiration. Porthole inspired mirrors look legit. Styling on point...the days I can buy flowers for the bathroom ahhhhhh. Not to far away. 🏚🏠🙌
Today i explore Elvas, a city that is very close to Spain, so it's a fortress city, lot of history. Castle, two fortresses and amazing views. 🏰🌄
Prague, The City of a Thousand Spires ⛪ bursting with culture, history, stories and legends around every corner (and food and beer!)
Prague - an often magical place, like out of a fairy tale but also dark and ominous with its eerie, gothic architecture and stories of the turbulent and troubled past .
Prague was very beautiful with lots of things to see. It was my first time travelling solo and I had the best time meeting great people from all around the world! 😁
Getting around Montmatre. Don't miss this wonderful arrodissement.
