Hey, look! It's *actual content*, brought to you by blue contacts, and not having to do eye edits bc you actually never know whether they'll look grey or greenish or brownish. Like ok sometimes its convenient if they look that grayish color but that's not always and Harleen doesn't have hazely eyes or whatever. I still have pics left over from cons bc of this.
Although there are cosplayers like @lipsticknrosess
who either have darker eyes or wear contacts to make their eyes darker, or just use their own hair darker hair instead like the holiday Harley @savethedaycosplay
made. and I really like their renditions. I think they look really good. That's putting maybe more of themselves into the cosplay, not "just" trying to look like a character. It's cool either way. I support anyone cosplaying anything including characters with different eyes/hair/skintone/bodytype. (and obviously, closet cosplay or different renditions of a character's outfit, as my own usual Harley version is just a mix of everything) (I hope I'm expressing this effectively. It's meant to be a message of positivity and acceptance, and admitting to my own flaws, which do not actually include having the "wrong" eye color bc even if i am particular about my own art, there is no "right" eye color. Yet while I know this, I both accept others as they are, and have been known to judge myself by harsh standards sometimes; for instance, thinking others look fine without makeup but I don't (younger me). There is more as comments.) #cosplay #bodypostive #inclusive #community #contacts #wig #arda #harleyquinn #thejoker #puddin #batman #madlove #cosplayersofinstagram #girlthoughts #comiccon #dcuniverse #marvel #villain #hero #perfectionist #artistproblems #anxiety #blonde #blueeyes #art #costumes
