How are you feeling today - Wip
I learned when I was young what I love so much about the Northland. It's the rough edges. The rough edges are what makes it so beautiful.
“Silence and Wonder” 24” by 36”
Oil on Canvas
Examining test strips from my first film of black and white film photography at @tndproject.
Caught rickets from the phenom,
Caught silence from the svelte.
Bought a broken treason,
And tried somebody else.
This painting is finished! 🎨☀️🐻🌲🏔

Work in progress. This painting is fighting me every step of the way 😩 I guess I should expect as much from a raccoon. Grr
“Morning Dew”, acrylic on wood panel, 18” by 24”, 2017
This peice sold to a lady who spread her family members ashes in this very spot and she and her family will forever see this view from her home in Vancouver. Stories like this is part of why I do my job. I'm so happy and speechless I could do this for someone. Made my day and hopefully hers. ❤
I actually picked up a paintbrush! It’s been way too long! All of my energy for the longest time has been in preparing the shop, now I need to warm up...figuratively, not literally - as it’s 35C with the humidex here. #melting #backtopainting #abstractflorals
Pieces made and available for sale - DM for info 😀. Have a big month planned for creating. Can't wait to show you what's in the works and get the current commissions out!!
This tote is called The Traveller. Whether you’re off to work, school, the lake, or you just want to sneak treats into the movie theatre.. you won’t want to go anywhere without it.
Love the twirls and swirls of this golden yellow acrylic piece! 🖌️💛
1- this special mug is up for grabs! Go one post earlier to enter!
2- do you like my new backdrop? Check my stories to see how I made it with very basic tools!
Been watching very interesting DIY courses on Skillshare. Photography, blogging, painting, drawing, and so much more. I am in love with this online classes tool. I made this backdrop after watching a course for these! ✌️I want to make a white backdrop now...
When i should be finishing commissions, writing emails, folding laundry, planning meals, you can often find me pounding out about 100 abstracts 🙄
Still working on Mom No. 2... (Mom No. 1 is the second image). I think I've discovered the source of my love/hate relationship with "Noodlers" inks... it's how the weird unpredictable nature of these inks makes it impossible to control exactly what will happen, the same way spreading my usual inks in water is. Though I am a control freak in certain ways with painting, I guess I also love being forced to let go. With these inks I end up with stuff that would never happen if I were able to control every last thing.
After a little holiday break, it’s back to the drawing board! (Yay!!) this piece says “Live fearlessly.”
