At the moment I am struggling with eating healthy. All in all I lost track of the #8fitchallenge in the last few days. Summertime brings a lot of ice cream and drinking cold beers on the riverside. So I also stopped checking out the workouts and cooking healthy. Your body doesnโ€™t care about looking good in a bikini when itโ€™s struggling to survive! Until you binge out 4000kcals on Pizza on the weekend! Then itโ€™s happy ๐Ÿ™ˆ . . ๐ŸฅชSeriously though, any calorie calculations I give are based on you actually training and being moderately active. If you do the calculations and it says 1800 kcals, then the whole idea is to eat 1800 kcals. Not think youโ€™re a genius by eating 1300! You did calculations to put you in a deficit, so donโ€™t now try to be in a deficit of a deficit! . . ๐Ÿ˜งIf you do this, you just end up being the person on the right. Maybe your scale weight will drop quicker but is that worth looking, training and feeling like crap? Ask yourself that. Last nightโ€™s Non-Scale Victory was attending a concert for a rare night out. Walking through a city and standing amongst strangers for hours was daunting when I also had to consider the physical toll of my weight. It felt great to be so active and engaged in the show and still have energy this morning. Iโ€™m also fortunate that my friends are supportive of my tracking so we could have dinner at @bibibopasiangrill which has a lot of accessibility to nutrition facts.

Itโ€™s been a little over a year since I graduated college and moved back home and itโ€™s been quite an adjustment. The whole โ€œunlimited snacks and fully stocked fridgeโ€ thing threw me for a loop and I ended up gaining a big chunk of weight back- peaking around 167 in December. These past few months Iโ€™ve really tried to buckle down and track my calories without giving in to excuses and itโ€™s been working. I havenโ€™t been perfect with it but Iโ€™ve been consistent and Iโ€™m seeing the results! I still eat the things I like- just less of them. About 6 pounds from my goal and Iโ€™m feeling good :)

Good morning #fitfam โค๏ธ I find so much encouragement reading your stories and getting a glimpse into your #fitness and #weightlossjourney ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸผI have been back on #keto for 6 days and already seeing results, today I weighed my lowest weight since starting this journey October 2017 so thankful I found the #ketolifestyle Prior to that I was going through a tough time after the death of a loved one- I buried myself in work and food, ended up having a few weight related health issues and it was recommended by a friend and a physician to try the #ketodiet but doing that taught me so much about my unhealthy mindset about food, emotional eating, and dieting. Last month was full of vacations and quite a bit of personal stresses, I decided to rest- not quit, I worked out daily but my food choices were good but not great. I needed the mental break from counting and thinking so much about it. My mind has changed so much in the last 6 months, keto has made me more aware of what Iโ€™m putting in my body, it has helped me to recognize triggers and when Iโ€™m eating mindlessly. Last month taught me how much I have learned to make this weight loss sustainable for life not temporary. I follow people on here who follow many different plans-#macros #weightwatchers #calorietracking #whole30 and a few who do not follow a plan at all they just inspire others with their positivity and outlook on food and fitness โค๏ธ I love following it all!!
