Fitness is important though, so I'm going to do my hip flexor routine and see if that works to ease it out. Then I'm going to make chocolate banana brownie because I can. . Quiz night last night! And so hangover run 🍷. Had to go and make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't ....goal achieved. Ran past the fire station as the alarms were going off, so was in good company for a whole ten strides! AND. I did it in normal socks. Not compression socks. I don't always have to be #sockist to achieve my goals. ❤️Time to start focusing on Novembers goal...to complete 21km whatever the pace. If this graph represented your stock portfolio you'd be pissed. However since I'm trying to lose weight it's a GREAT graph. @chris_puck_33 said "we could go sledding on that chart" and it made me laugh but also pretty damn happy. If you don't regularly read my post I do my weight checks on #weighinwednesday however I didn't post my normal fireworks and fancy photos. I lost 0.3 when my goal is 3lbs per week. I'm not even disappointed. I'm not disappointed because. .. 1) I'm ahead of my goal weight by the week. . 2) I've had a lot going on past couple weeks that in past would of turned me into a hungry hungry hippo over eating and drinking monster and soda non stop, but I stayed "strong" . . 3) I said in the beginning I would only walk, hike, lift and elliptical until I got below 300lbs. Now I do all that plus bike and 5k training plus signed up for a 1 mile "race". . 4) This past week I've realized I'm the strongest I've ever been and I'm not even pushing 100% with lifting. . 5) With the chaos these past 4 weeks I haven't been on my bike once, Thursday my 1st night back in the saddle I had a goal of 4 miles, rode 10 and was tempted to ride further and felt great. . 6) This is the most important one. I'm disappointed because what I'm doing is far more then losing weight, I'm changing my lifestyle, my choices, actions more then words. Its simple, I'm doing it. . Years past I would of gotten so discouraged because I was so focused on one thing, the scale I missed everything else that was happening. I couldn't "see the forest for the trees". Now I'm enjoying the "struggle", the "process", the "journey". . If you find motivation or inspiration in anything I've posted I hope you read this last part. I have figured out the key secret and want to share it. If you aren't making progress, please DO NOT work harder, or stress, or worry that won't help. What you need to do is ENJOY the process, smell the roses. Look at your life today compared to your 1st day. Look at what you can do not what you can't. Almost talked myself out of my run today, but so glad I didn’t! I did w5d3 run again, since I wasn’t able to run the full 20 minutes the other morning. I did it today!!😁 I used my Apple Watch and Fitbit to track this run, and they were no where close to the same numbers. I just went with what the treadmill said. I’m anxious to get a garmin and see how it compares. When #women come together for body, mind and soul, magic happens! . Today my #C25K #run group graduated by #running #kingswayparkrun . It was hot, it was busy but, as ever, totally welcoming. . A few of our women have had massive health and personal issues to deal with over this last 10 weeks but, together, they supported each other to arrive at this event and participate. . All I asked of them was to listen to their body, their mind and honour themselves and how far they had come. They did that and more. . Each one completed this #run looking strong. Goals were met and celebrated. Friendships cemented and a love of fitness as a way to create ‘me time’ flourished a little more. . Hello! 👋🏽 I have started this account to try and motivate myself to loose 34lbs (around 2 and a half stone). I went on an amazing holiday a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, HOWEVER, one thing held me back - my weight 😔 I am not massively big for my height 5' 6.5'' and I'm 12 stone 6lbs, but this is the biggest I have ever been and I can definitely feel the difference. I have two beach holidays booked for April & May next year and I am absolutely determined not to feel the same way as I did this year! I will be sticking between 1300-1500 calories per day, and mixing that with exercise to try and loose the weight. I will be starting #c25k ! 🏃🏽 My target weight is 10 stone, but I would love to get down to 9stone 9 for my holiday to allow for extra treats! 🍦🍭 I will start posting all my meals either a photo of my food or a screenshot of my calorie tracker.
