"I dont know if I'm worth all this"
This scene is by far my favorite scene in the entire Marvel Universe.
I don't think I'm the only one who has such a strong pull towards #BuckyBarnes
and the metaphor he brings of overcoming trauma. Overcoming guilt of things you were forced to do.
But seeing this scene where Rogers tries to tell him it wasn't his fault, and Bucky responding "I know, But I did it" was a defining moment when it comes to coming to terms with the horrors of my childhood.
I know it wasn't my fault, but I still did it. I still submitted. It tore me up inside.
But seeing this made me realize it, and I have worked past it. I don't think I'll ever COMPLETELY put my past behind me, but that's okay. I can still fight. I can still help others just like Bucky does, and I will.
Thank you @Imsebastianstan
for bringing this beautiful character to life. I know you because of Bucky, but I love you for so much more.
