Education is key, to healthy hair care. To see pictures like this it saddens me. Unfortunately, so many Daughters of Zion need healing from the abuse and stress that has been placed upon their crown. It is very important that once we learn better we must do better. Even young girls have been born into the manipulation of their hair and abuse by over pulling and strain that is placed on their hair. For example, the hard pulling of rubber bands and use of extensions on the hair is too much for our baby girls. I do not disagree with styling but what I have a problem with is the hair being pulled so tightly that bumps form and the scalp bleeds and in some cases have resulted in death. There is an article going around about a young girl under the age of 5 who died because of the result of extreme tension through extensions placed in her hair. I am not here to condemn you, but I am here to make you think. Think about the glued in hairstyles, lace front wigs, braids etc. I want you to ask yourself after you take out or take down an install are you satisfied enough with your hair that you will gracefully wear your natural crown publicly? If not, then I want you to take some time out and self reflect on this matter. Princess, it’s time for some internal healing so you can externally glow! If you need to reach out to someone I’m here just shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
or message me we can come up with a natural plan toward healing. Remember to be you stay True and Beautiful!
