*crawling away from my responsibilities like* 🌝 (watch till end)
Since a couple of my friends and I have decided to participate in the @spartanraceau
in about a months time, I thought I'd have a little fun and "train" for this particular event. This is merely just a fun event for me with really no intentions of winning (not that I rlly could tbh LOL) but thought having a little fun in preparation to this race wouldn't hurt 😜
Fun fact: since young, I've had a fear of monkey bars cos I was bullied into climbing and sitting on the bars and if not those bullies would pull my pants down LOL. Be nice and don't bully y'all. So that's why I've got a fear of falling when monkey bar-ing now. But practised a few rounds of single/double swings and success 🤙🏼 Trying to improve that grip strength overall.
Some plyos included: box jumps ⏩ burpees.
Plank walks: keep the core tight and spine neutral. I have sliders on both feet to easily slide away!
Getting through obstacles makes us better. This one with the WELL TRAINED Vest will make you great.
• Box Jumps

Our dude @dave_rodriguezz
with an absolutely amazing standing 60” box jump. TOO EASY! I love the potentiation of his effort before the jump, putting that nervous system into over drive! An aggressive punch with the hips, while maintaining a stable upper back allows Dave to clear the box and set up for landing! Stellar jump dude! Team PPA! 🚀🚀🚀
